The Trial of Bonds

"WHAT!?" The gruff voice exclaimed as Aura was suddenly pulled from the pond and found herself on her back on the beach. "Now after we had...fun...with you, we'll kill you!" The gruff voice said as Aura looked up to see a yellow dragon with a large scar on his face and a blue dragon, who was younger.

"And just what makes you think that I'll just let you take me like that?" Aura asked calmly.

"SHUT UP!" The yellow dragon said as he slammed her in the face. Two seconds later, a metal talon appeared through his chestas he was litterally torn in half, revealing a *bleep*ed off Aurgal. The blue dragon bolted, but Aurgal didn't give chase.

"I could have handled it..." Aura muttered as she got up.

"Whatever. You know how I feel about people who do that." Aurgal responded as Aura insatnly wrapped her forepaws around him in a brother-sister embrace.

"Still, it's good to have you back." Aura said as Aurgal growled slightly.

*Zander reaches the pond, too tired to notice anything. After dousing himself, he quickly dives.*

"Aurgal, why is your...?" Aura asked as she noticed that the thing hiding his metal arm was gone.

"I ran into...some trouble." Aurgal said. Aura nodded, knowing that he didn't like to explain what he meant, except if it was 'him'.

*Zander dives faster and deeper*

"Hey Aurgal?" Aura asked as they stood on a small cliff that had water below it.

"What?" He asked.

Aura suddenly pushed him over the side of the cliff, and a loud splash was heard a second later. "Nothing really." She replied, smiling at his expression, which was one of rage. "Oh calm down. It's just water."

"What do you think your gonna do, huh?" Aura called down to Aurgal, who was still glaring at her. "You need to lighten up and actually try and be friendly."

"Oh yeah. I can totally do that when you know what I've gone through." Aurgal hissed.

"That's the past!" Aura continued, "But try to make some friends. For all you know, having them could save your life!"

*Sherbet walked into the centre of the village and looked about, she walked in the direction that other creatures were coming from who had water pots with them, guessing water was that way*

(If Sherbert is heading towards the pond, make sure she doesn't see the dead dragon that has been torn in two! And Sherbert is 22, yes?)

"There were two other people besides you who I bothered to be with, and guess what!? They're dead! Even...her...." Aurgal said, looking away sorryfully at the last part.

Aura's expression turned to sadness on who he referanced. "Well, I'm sure that she would want you to be happy..." she replied quietly.

(And that statement is not true for the thing I am writting tongue . Got I love changing things for my characters...)

(Yeah, I kinda am. But in a goofy way. Oh crap. *Runs as Aurgal chases him*)

"...Moving away from that subject, how long are you gonna sit there and glare." Aura asked as she start to lean off the cliff. As soon as she did so, Aurgal shot a fireball at the cliff, destroying where she was laying down and making her drop into the water.

"Stop letting your guard down." Aurgal said, a faint smile on his face.

*Sherbet came up to the pond and waded into the shallows, soaking her aching feet. She took a long drink then looked around. She saw those two dragons she had seen in the forest and put her head down, even though she knew they hadn't seen her. She watched the minnows frolicking in the shallows*

*Sherbet noticed the splashing and watched them having a fight, she thought it was rather funny and smiled*

OOC: Well, to be honest I think 22 is maybe too old and serious and Sherbet likes to have a good time! XD Maybe 19 or 20 is a better age for her as I see her in my minds' eye at the moment!
