LOL I went and saw Kung Fu Panda today, and I really liked it! I could totally see Jack Black in Po. He was just as big (meaning fat smile ) and obnoxious and funny as he is as a real person.

Okay, so the beginning part, where Po is dreaming made me laugh so hard especially after he wakes up and his neighbor sees him from out the window and he's trying to act like the fierce five... or what ever they are called big_smile

Out of the five warriors I'd have to say I like Tigress the best. I feel bad for her after Po ruin's her dream of becoming the dragon warrior. But the rest of the five are cool too.

So has anyone else seen it? Come talk with me about it!

Surprisingly it was! I wanted to see it and all, but I wasn't sure if I'd like it, but I really did! I just wish it would come out on DVD so I could buy it!

Saw that movie today and loved it. I was actually quite impressed at the lack of crude humor Dreamworks usually puts in their films; it was a nice change of pace from all the obnoxious fart jokes and Shrek-worthy cracks. I mean, the first one was great, but... did you know they plan on making EIGHT Shrek movies? Gyah.
Back on topic, Kung Fu Panda had some GORGEOUS animation - and my favorite character was probably Tai Lung, he was amazing. That prison scene alone was worth all those screaming toddlers in the seats next to me. XD
All in all, very enjoyable and I want to see it again! The plot was cliche and I saw everything coming a mile away, but Kung Fu Panda kept it fresh and funny at the same time. Very hard to do, that.

P.S. I agree, Tigress rocked. Although I love cats in general so that might have something to do with it. ;P

I have been seeing so many comercals for this movie it isnt even funny. The newest one is for Mc Donalds that i have seen.

Kat, I know what you mean that it is worth it even with a ton of little kids, my family (cousins included) take up at least 1 1/2 entire rows. It's crazy when we get together. tongue
Back on subject, I agree, Tai Lung is pretty freaking cool. I actually felt bad for him a little. He was so cute as a cub. (as was Tigress :3 ) And I'm also really glad they didn't have to use crude, obnoxious stuff to get me to laugh. It gets really old, really fast. I think this is dreamworks best childrens film yet.

Also, it's kinda funny that Jackie Chan had like...what 4 or 5 actual lines in the whole movie?

I can't remember how it went, but my bf and I just started laughing so hard, and we didn't stop until the little girl behind us asked her mom "Are they in love?" Then we just stared at each other and laughed some more. XD
