Graduation
Today, I'm graduating from the eighth grade. I'm going to Queens High School of Science in September.
Well, it's been a good year, and no one else in my class is going to my high school. but I'm sure next school year will be even better.

Actually no. It gets better when you go to university/college, I promise.

My teacher told us all about his experience in college.
He had to memorize 65 pages of work in 5 hours and then receit it to hi professor. If he missed one word, he failed.
He also had to write two 70 page essays on igneous rocks.
Sounds like a lot of "fun."

First of all, one person's experience is not the same nor remotely close to another person's experience.
Secondly, the amount of fun you have in college depends on several factors like:
- finding a field or area you enjoy doing
- how you organize your time
- being open to many new people (ie making new friends)
- the professor (there will always be good and bad ones)
Finally, if you want something like a master degree or PhD degree, you'll usually have to write a thesis, which is normally 100+ pages long. So if your professor wrote anything near that, it was probably over the course of several months (I admit it sounds daunting still).
Don't let one person color your opinion already. Seriously, snap out of it and look forward to university/college! ![]()

Re: Graduation
Congratz A Guy! Best of luck through high school.
I've just got 1 more year of high school left and them it's off to college for me. I've even got my colleges planned out. My eyes are set on either the University of Georgia, Columbus State University, or the Manhattan School of Music.
Thought about the Julliard School of Music, but I think that's a bit out of my league ...

You cant really say that to me.
I was kind of nervous about High School, but its not really as nerveracking as you think, well for me anyway.
but it is annoying, especially your first year, it gets a bit better after that...
but i probably only felt depressed in my first year due to.....another issue
