Re: Good Games for the PSP

Doppel u mean hack my PSP to have it play ps1 games....a friend was haveing me do that. Said it runes down the batter so it doesnt last half as long...whitch mine lasts about maybe 2 days as it is. I never bought mine, but traded with a friend with alot of cards...3 Decks of Magic the gathering....Lost quite a bit of good cards, but still it was worth it for an anceint PSP that he got almost the first day it came out. Few scratches on the screen but o well.

True. It makes the PSP guzzle more power.

*technical details!*

Hacking it removes Sony's speed limit of 222MHz at the PSP's core. It makes the PSP run faster at 333MHz. The higher core speed makes games run smoother (nice!) at the expense of battery life (no!).

Or you could find a friend that owns a PS3 and do it risk-free and won't void your warrenty...

Re: Good Games for the PSP

You'll regret it when you pay $600 for a PS3 and ruin it. My friend tried to "improve" his by hacking it and he destroyed the blue laser diode and ruined the system. He sent it to Sony and they refused to pay shipping or have anything to do with fixing it.

Eeeek! I want to get em' on PSP, but unfortunately, I'm not very techo-handy, and not much of your tutorial made sense enough to me for it to work (heck, I've never even heard of the Pandora thinggo). I suppose there's no way of buying them like a regular PSP game is there? sad
But jeez, you really sound like you know what your doing.

Re: Good Games for the PSP

Honestly im gana have to wait till i find the right tools to do that...We lost the welder, and popping off the batter thingy honestly i would have to let some one more skilled do it because me and my dad would break it...also we dont have the item for the memory card to go into or the program....plus laptop prolly would lose connection with the internemt if i had to dl the program from the web...

You can convert PS1 to PSP format using a PS3, but I don't have that.

You can also buy it on the Playstation Store, but who wants to re-pay to re-play a game you already have!?

Well, admittedly, I used torrents sometimes if I need a program to complete my school projects. Better that than zero marks! wink

Read the whole thing again. It also says in Chapter 2 what programs I used and where to download them. The "Memory Stick Adaptor" (the silver item that I inserted in my lappy) came free with the memory stick.

AND, IF THE PSP GOES BROKE OR THE BATTERY KA-SPLODES IN HIS FACE, I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE.

Be sure to read it to the end of my post. It contains important notes too.
