Re: Dr. Drake's Gryphon Tutoring
Are gryphons sentinent?
Sentinent = Self-awareness. Meaning they can think and have personalities like humans do and not rely on hard-wired instincts.

Re: Dr. Drake's Gryphon Tutoring
Hippogryph was a name J.K. Rowling substituted for Gryphon. They are the same thing. J.K. Rowling simply changed the name. Hippogryphs aren't real.
wrong, for someone apparently so "in the know" regarding gryphons, you should know the difference between a gryphon (lion/eagle) and a hippogryph (horse/eagle)
hippo = horse
as in the word hippopotamus which means river horse and hippocampus (seahorse)

Well then, J.K. Rowlings site was wrong... She said that she made them up. Hmm..... that is something I didn't know. I must write this down in my log.

Do gryphons have any natural resistances to anything?

Re: Dr. Drake's Gryphon Tutoring
1. Are they excellent swimmers? If they are, how long can they stay under?
2. How big do they get?

Re: Dr. Drake's Gryphon Tutoring
Gryphons don't swim. Their feathers would get wet.
6-9ft tall. 12-20ft (not including tail which is about half their lenght)
