LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!

You're must be confused. I don't watch Faux News, I cite that as the source of the Barack Obama rumors of which he is a secret Muslim (which is false). What other facts of mine are false, because, as I am aware, all of my facts are, well, fact.

And I am FAR from ignorant. wink

Well, RM, explain how I was THERE when he said it! I'm not saying he is a secret Muslim. I am simply stating that he wanted to be sworn in on the Koran when he said he was Christian. (I mean no offense to anyone's religion) He lies, simple as that.

As I understand it, that's not required.

If you follow the codes, then yes it is. People have said it isn't so much now, that they actually think it isn't.

Dude, being friends with a drug dealer and a terrorist are two different things. And I'm sure he didn't know of what he was doing until he was caught. What were the 16 counts for anyways, and who was it?

I'm not contrasting or comparing the two. I'm saying it gives a bad impression. The guys name was Rezko something. I can't really remember it and don't feel like look it up right now.

As I understand it, he was not brought up in a Muslim household. Again, there's nothing wrong with Islam.

Never said Muslim was bad. It just won't make people feel comfortable.

You can't really save someone who's already saved. XD

It doesn't show. Might want to try a doctor next.

That doesn't mean it should be illegal.

Well, that's an opinion.

Potential Human Life =/= Actual Human Life. If we're making it illegal to 'kill' potential human life, then, hey, let's make *bleep* and protected sex illegal too.

Since sex and murder having nothing to do with each other, how about you make a more valid statement? And if it doesn't matter if it's potential or not. It still has the possibility of living. If you don't want the baby, put it up for adoption - easy as that.

And? I'll win?

Considering you haven't won yet, I disagree.

Source? I don't believe you.

EDIT: http://youtube.com/watch?v=JSj2jOrbkhQ CNN Report on this whole debacle. That is completely false. Prove me wrong, in spite of this evidence.

The sperm that is 'wasted' in protected sex has the potential for living. Should we ban condoms because of that?

Not as easy as you think. Adoption centers are overcrowded. The children in there don't get much in the way of a good childhood, love or education. Barely anyone adopts, and if they do, its usually only babies. I'd rather be dead than up for adoption, and I'm sure a lot of other kids up for adoption would agree.

Is abortion honestly being debated?

It's legal, there's nothing to debate.  If people don't want kids, they don't have to have kids.  simple.

Re: Clinton out of race

Anyway getting back to the topic, I really don't think that Clinton really backed out of the race for president. Look at it this way: she was getting bashed by almost every form of media via television and she was leading Obama in popular votes. What I believe she was thinking is that staying in the view of the media would only hurt her campaign because if she stayed, the media would most definitely continue to do all they could to ruin her reputation in the eyes of the American public. So it's possible that she's still in the race without the media knowing while still performing acts to gain the popular vote. She had no reason to actually resign from the race but she did need the media to stop bashing her. I don't support Clinton, in fact I pretty much hate all the candidates. But I do know that the new president will most definitely be democratic.

Er .. Banning condoms would never work. People will find ways around that. It's like trying to ban guns.

Have you ever even been to an adoption center? The kids there love what they have. Some don't even want to leave b/c of the bond they form with the other kids! A sudden end to their life is the last thing they want.
Then again, it's hard for many mothers to put their child up for adoption because of the link they form just after birth.

Personally I wouldn't want Obama. (Not do to race) He is trying to disarm America, which would pretty much doom our country due to the fact the 90% of the countries on Earth hate us.

Re: Clinton out of race

hello im an australian... we're sposed to be your allies and most of us hate america too, dont get me wrong, there areplenty of awesome americans, but the country as a whole... well either the idiots outnumber the good ones, or theyre so stupid that they drown out everyone else

but enough of that, just noticed the abortion thing

i dont think theres anything wrong with abortion
i think its better that a child never be born, rather than be born into conditions where it cant be cared for properly, or where it is not going to have a 100% chance of a happy childhood
- as has been said an adoption center isnt where a child should grow up, in many cases they may appear happy and loved, but the problem with that is they are potentially faking it because they realise that happy child = better chance of having a family
- those who dont get adopted or are adopted very late, arent likely to fare overly well in my opinion, they havnt grown up with the love and guidance a family provides, which is what teaches us important things like work ethics and what is right or wrong

i realise people are possibly going to respond to this with "but its still life and it still has a soul"well i personally think thats up for debate, youve probably heard before that young children are like sponges they take in everything, i think this leads towards the idea that a child doesnt really develop anything akin to a soul until its experienced the world around it.

but these are just my opinions, i wouldnt force them on someone, just as id hope nobody would try to force theirs on me

Re: Clinton out of race

Well Fletch, I'm not going to get on to you about the abortion thing b/c that'll just go back and forth. But I have to disagree with part of the adoption thing.
As I've said before, I've spent some time in an adoption center to help clean up and talk to some of the kids. With me being 17, there's obviously no way I could adopt.
Anyways, many of the kids love what they have there. You can tell they'd rather have that than death. And you can tell they're not faking it. Now I'm not saying they're all happy, but more are than aren't.
Then you have to look at after childbirth - the strong bond that is formed with the mother and child and doesn't want them split. But that's something you're going to have to ask someone with a child ...

Hehe, interesting how this thread went from Hilary to adoption. :-P

The sad thing is: the people who think America is full of idiots are CORRECT. The country won't last another 30 years.

The bad thing is that is America is destroyed, the world economy would collaspe. China and Europe rely on us for trade.

Sounds like an economic "lock in."

You've been to a well funded adoption center. Go to an innercity adoption center and say that again to me with a straight face.

Doesn't sound like he wants to disarm the country.

which would pretty much doom our country due to the fact the 90% of the countries on Earth hate us.

And you wonder why 90% of the world hates us? If you said President Bush's terrible foreign policy combined with the failure and falseness of the Iraq War, you were correct.

The sad thing is: the people who think America is full of idiots are CORRECT. The country won't last another 30 years.

And you wonder why? If you said President Bush's screw ups, you were correct. Barack Obama can bring us back on the right track to Pre-Bush prosperity (See: Bill Clinton). That's why he should get in. 95 years of war under McCain will absolutely TRASH our economy, and you will be correct, the country won't last another 30 years, much less another 95.

Are you kidding?  The country may be in an economic slump but it's not going anywhere any time soon.  The US has gotten out of much worse than the dollar going down in value a little and some high gas prices.

In the 70s there was a gas shortage that resulted in much worse gas-related problems, and let's not forget the Great Depression.  America still has some fight left in it.
