The nice thing is, becuase starting a contest costs nothing except space on the server and the time it takes to post the announcement, I think there's room enough in the forum for art contests and gameplay contests.

that sounds good, how about we do all the speedways in the originals and 500 gems each. I just dont want to do another art or writing contest.

That must be minus the loading time.

I discovered that some may be disadvantaged since the loading time is short on PSone hardware, but slightly longer on an emulator and was longest on my PSP. Which gave me the disadvantage on trying to shoot ratchet's Speedrun time. Plus, the load times may be lengthened on many factors. Scratched discs, old hardware, Emulator configuration, System specs, compression, MD5 checks and even more.... :-[

EDIT: I discovered why my PSP was the longest load time. The game is so compressed, the PSP has to decompress snippets of code every time it loads. This takes a few seconds and gives me the disadvantage. sad

Thanx For working that Our Doppel, I was wondering why your time was so long! Well with speedways, the game times itself, and it doesn't include the load time, just how long it takes you to complete the speedway. So, all we have to do i get our best time and take a snap shot of the time. Anyone here hve a digital camera? wink
