New Spyro powers!!

So, i think that Spyro can have more powers in future games, what do you think???

PS: What do you think if Spyro can (in new games) shapeshift into a snake form??

huh??? why would any of those be powers? they dont make sense? Spyro has no thumbs so he cannot hold stuff. the only one that makes sense is wind, and thats kinda represented by earth

"Wind Breath" sounds cool. Or "Infernal Breath" or "Dragon Breath".

The 'Wind Breath' would probably move things-but the Water Breath already takes care of that.
There are already lots of games where you use armor and weapons-and as Reivan pointed out, Spyro is a dragon-so he can only hold things in his jaws/mouth. They sound cool, but aren't going to happen.

How about "Plasma" breath? I don't mean to point out that this was used very little. (In Spyro 2, you could use this power up while battling Ripto) It might prove useful to use it to hit switches or eat through metal.

I also had an idea for attaching some latched on jet engines to Spyro's wings. It wouldn't make sense to do so unless his wings were badly broken in some accident.

Electricity has been done already but I wanted to add something to it where you can use a magnetic field to grapple onto metal objects and swing from one place to the next. I do find it funny seeing Spyro hanging from a stream of lighting coming from his mouth.

I got plenty more for ya to chew on but I'll leave it at this: Elemental Shockwave. This will effect all surrounding enemies, allies, and objects in a wide radius. The effect differs depending on what element that is currently selected. (It seems more like Fury except it doesn't kill your enemies instantly, it only will harm them)

I think like a... Well, snakes can be used to spy, and Spyro can get more powerfull if he shapeshift in a black mamba!!!! (purple colour, of course)

For Trasher: Good idea!! (I think Spyro uses Earth Breath istead of Plasma when defeating Ripto o_O ) But if we put in the list:

Fire

Electricity

Ice

Earth

Plasma

Shockwave

Wind

So PS2 control would need 7 arrows!!! (But if we put one more, it can be like: Up, Down, Left, Right, and all diagonals)

For Dragonstar: True, but sometimes I imagine Spyro, with medieval armor, and holding a sword (Don't now how, but its sounds cool)

how about ummm i dunno, no extra powers? Wind breath was in AOTR though it was just a breath used for puzzles, maybe like a torando breath would be better than that. i wouldn't mind a game where you could learn a tonn of breath attacks, kinda like ratchet and clank but with breaths, it might turn out well.....
but i'm happy enough with just powerups like in spyro 2/3

If anything, get rid of them. All we need are charging and flame breath. Heck, back in my day we used the D-pad and liked it!

yeah, thats true, except alot of people hated how YOTD was very similar to Spyro 2, didn't put in much (i disagree) including extra powers.

I would rather just replace the Earth with Plasma. Instead of having infinite energy (like AHT) to having an rechargeable energy supply. It may seem similar to TLoS but uses the power-up gate for recharging. Elemental energy levels reset when entering a different level, going past a special field, environmental effects, or an elemental disrupter. This makes thing more difficult even for combat and puzzle solving. The fire element is the only one that is not effected at all.

Out of the ablitites in the poll, i dont know because none of them sound that good to me. But a plasma breath sounds pretty good.

Unfortunately, once someone casts a vote on the poll it can't be edited. Only a moderator or board administrator can now edit it. (I found this out by looking at the FAQ page. "this is to prevent people rigging polls by changing options mid-way through a poll" Smart but it has it's drawbacks as well.)

Uhh, Spyro is a DRAGON, he's not meant to morph back and forth into a snake and a dragon.
All these elements are already confusing enough to me, anyway.
