More reason to hate my school

My neck has been burning all day. At my school, we have to wear ID badges that are held around out neck with some kind of material thats not real cloth. And through the whole day, I've been complaining about my neck. So I took a picture. Its nothing nasty, its just a little inflamed

Thats a bit harsh. I don't mean the ID collars, but not making it from cloth or silk is.

That's harsh! I would really question the policy of identification via ID tags. There's got to be a better way to do it. Why doesn't your school use ID cards instead? Wearing a tag sounds more like being in a dog pound or animal shelter. And it makes me assume that they treat each student not as a unique individual, but rather as a number. Ok, person #157932?

Yeah, cards would would be a hell of alot better.

EDIT: my school has ID cards for excursions but not normally.

We have Fobs. but the material used as the strap that goes around my neck to carry it makes my skin bad. it inflames my neck aswell, look.

Thats why i carry it in my bag, it still works.

i have just one card and you dont have to even wear it in the school all you gotta do is swip the card to get into the building and for all i care you can through it into your bookbag until tommorow.i cary mines as a keychain with my keys next to it i hole punched it.

Tell you teachers about it! The can resolve the problem.

If they don't care, step it up to the school board.

We have school IDs as well. We don't have to wear them though.
For us, they're quite pointless. We only use them to check out books from the school library. Nothing else.
