Thunderstorms

Just wondering what other members think about them

I happen to love sitting and watching thinderstorms because I love the sense of power when watching them and I'm at this moment enduring one of the longest thunderstorms and also most impressive that I have ever seen in my life.

So what do you guys think about them

Fun to watch, listion to, and enjoy. Only problem is when your on a boat it isnt as fun.

We had some crazy storms just earlier this week - tornadoes and whatnot. Tons of lightning too.
I found it exciting to watch. Lightning looks fun.
But then I got really bored b/c the power went out. sad

beautiful, not so sure, it woke me up, and i found my dog had come upstair *hes not allowed to* and left me present on my carpet...he hates thunder storms, i do, just when he is down stairs...

I love thunderstorms, I agree with you Misa, they're best on the beach. I swear I saw lightning hit the castle once, it was so close it was like a gunshot, it was at the same time as the lightning so it was right overhead. My dog Ozzy went through his first thunderstorm in April, I don't really know what he thought. Hehe, while you two (Yahoo and reddragon12) have been having thunderstorms its been sunny and warm in Scarborough! Well, except this morning because it rained, but it cleared up and was lovely and sunny later on. I tell you what I would love to see, a tornado. There have been tornados around the Yorkshire coast loads of times, there were at least three last summer, as well as a waterspout in Filey. But I have never seen one myself. (Did you know that the UK has more tornados than the US? They are just waaaay smaller and do very little damage, usually F1's and occasionally 2's)

....and run the risk of being electricuted.....no....i play keyboard, when it does.....our bulldog barks when it thunders.....annoys the crap out of you.....

lol @ Yahoo the storm dragon, my dog couldn't care less about thunder. I think thunderstorms rock, except when there is a power loss coz then i can't use the computer to come on here!
