Getting Computer Rebuilt, but has 2 hard drives
Ok, I'm wondering, if you get your computer rebuilt (wiped clean and having your OS reinstalled), will it wipe out your other HDD? Ok, here's what I did: my C drive contains my Windows files, and my F drive holds only game files and crap like that, I took the files I don't wanna lose in C drive when it gets wiped and moved them to my F drive so I can keep them (all and all, if I tried using a flashdrive, I'd need 2 because we only have 2gb ones and I moved roughly 3gb stuff). My F drive does not contain any Windows files...so will this wipe my F drive clean or will it go with it?

Normally, Windows reinstalls only affect the first hard drive, which is C:\. It won't affect the F:\ unless you specifically say to do so.
Note that the games on F:\ will not work anymore if the OS is reinstalled. Even if the game files are 100% intact. This is because the serial number you enter for the games are gone. Any installed programs on F:\ such as Photoshop will lose their serial number when the OS is reinstalled, and will not work anymore.
Be sure to have all the installation CDs ready. Especially the drivers.
Also, be sure to copy your documents and savegames.

You COULD possibly back up your registry then reinstall then restore your registry.
Are you sure its 2 separate hard drives, or is it 1 single hard drive that has 2 separate partions?

Registries are extremely sensitive though, and I won't recommend it. I bricked my old desktop by trying that.

He says that do you have two hard drives? Or is it one big hard drive with a divider (partition)?

Corky, don't post short posts that really don't add anything to the conversation.
