Who likes the Spam section?

How many of you like the Spam section of SpyroForums? I think that they are weird and funny, and I like that a lot. Give me your opinions! Take the poll too. This is important to me, and other people curious about this subject.

I really don't like the spam section. It just encourages members to spead spam elsewhere.

I like the SPAM section. Sometimes little gems are there. Even extremely laughable ones. big_smile

And no. The point of the spam section is to contain and isolate spam. Therefore we wouldn't have crap running all over the place. Take BenHeck forums for example. They *don't* have a spam section so all the annoying stuff is in F42.

Exactly. I agree with Doppelgangergang. At least instead of tons of Spam everywhere, most of it is isolated and there's a little everywhere else. Spam has some cool subjects as well.

Do you remember why the SPAM section was removed in the first place? It was because Spam was spreading outside the section and that is happening again whether you want to believe it or not.

Spam section is fine. Only complaint I have is that some people are really unimaginative in posting spam topics, so most of them are boring.

Then those who spam should be warned. Seriously, people get away with everything here. I'm not against having fun, but almost all the topics here go astray after a while. When there was no spam section here, everything was fine. At my old forum, we have a jerk for an admin and if you posted a reply that was off topic, you would be flamed beyond belief. That's why I left.

Good thing you left. It does not sound like a good forum.

Anyway, every forum (beside from SPAM) should have a SPAM AND DERAILMENT WARNING.

If you spam or derail a thread once, you will be warned.

Do it again and you will get an infraction.

Three infractions are going to result in a tempa-ban.

I sometimes visit the SPAM section. Not much though. But yes, it's very good to have it because SPAM doesn't go everywhere.
