Yeah... i wonder how they got the name Spyro in  the first place... i think it's becouse pyro means fire so they just added the S at the start... i don't know......

Spyro's name is sort of a human name. Actually it is the nickname for Spyridon. And both names mean dragon. So there you have it.

Any name related to the elements could work for dragons. I mean, Spyro is a double-pun. Spyro?
