Do you beileve dragons exist?

I believe that outlandish things such as dragons existing and UFO's abducting people are not impossible, but highly improbable.
However I do have to admit that the fact that almost every culture had their own yet similar depictions of monstrous fire-breathing lizards even before they became acquainted with one another is rather unusual.

If you look at the facts then every culture had stories of dragons when the world was young. Chinese dragons, Maori Taniwha, Greek Hydra ectera ecetera...how can they not have existed if these cultures spoke of dragons and yet had never met each other? EDIT: oops sorry didnt see that the above post says same thing...

Well it seems that people are approaching this question through several angles. Some people chose that dragons exist simply because they are infatuated with dragons/Spyro series. Some people, like I, answer the poll through a more scientific approach (e.g. evidence through archaelogical finds). Others answer the poll through their beliefs or religion. Yet another group of people simply believe that dragons are stuff of legends, so they don't take other things such as religion or scientific facts into account.
Because there are so many ways to approach this poll, I find it a bit pointless to start a debate over whether so and so's facts are true or not.

Dragons do exsist. Just not the ones with wings or that breathe, but I'm talking about lizards that are name dragons.

And bmah's got a good point here. There's really no point in arguing over this one. I think dragons exist, but not on this planet and probably not in this universe, and I've given my reasons. Other people do think they exist here and that's cool.

But the gist of everything is that DragonFireOKN has a person, spiritual experience involving a dragon and a mysterious illness (where she was asleep for something like ninety-six hours but was perfectly healthy when she woke up).

Okay. I am totally OBSESSED with dragons. I draw an aerage of 3 dragon drawings a day and my thoughts are swarming with them. I also think that there MAY be something in the bible about a dragon, but I'm not exactly sure I believe in them. It is true that they appear in many different cultures, but I have heard of a story about this Asian man that discovered a pterodactyl fossil years before anyone knew what dinosaurs were. (In case you don't know what that is, it is a type of pterosaur, not a dinosaur, and it has a very large wingspan, similar to a bat's wings. Also, it was reptilian and had two legs, or four if you count the arms connected to their wings.) However, it is possible that the pterodactyl was something else. If you've ever seen dragons a fantasy made real, it is very realistic and takes a scientific approach towards the possible existence of dragons. (Great, I'm starting to sound a little like Volteer) However, it still may be possible. After all, the Krakken was supposedly a mythological beast until we began to find physical evidence of the giant squid, which I believe has recently been photographed.(At least according to Animal Planet) It had evaded us for so long, only now have we found one alive. Also, I have heard of REAL PHOTOGRAPHED dragons before. They are small lizards that can glide from high places and appear to fly because of these flaps of skin they have on their sides. Oh, and not EVERYTHING can be proven, at least not right now because we are still just beginning to really explore the world around us. And Razz, I am also a christian. It's just that it isn't scientifically proven yet, even though there are things we haven't discovered yet. EVen though I don't really believe in dragons, I'm not TOTALLY against them and if they did exist I would totally frek out.

Well I'm not sure if dragons exist, I could believe they do, but I haven't seen any proof so I'm kinda not 100% certain they believe. I mean I freaking LOVE dragons, but I don't think they could exist here on Earth. Like Razz said, maybe on another planet or universe. I know for sure that there are other planets out there. We can't possibly be the only forms of life in the entire existance of the universe. I can tell you for sure, that there are planets just like this one out there in the big wide universe no doubt about it. Some of them may be even much smarter than us! Like today, we think we are the only intellegent life in the whole universe. Whoever believes that is crazy...on other planets out there, WE might be the ones that they think are less intelligent then them.
All I'm saying is that dragons DO exist for sure somewhere else on another part of the universe. I mean for all we know, there could be a dragon just like Spyro! A purple dragon could be a rare breed of dragon for real. I guess to me, there's no such thing as no when it comes to the question, "Is there life out there more intellegent than us? Is there life out there at all?" My answer would be, "Of course!"

They don't exist. There's been zero sightings of either them or fossils of them, and I'm pretty sure that since it's possible to fly anywhere in the world with an airplane, some airplane passengers would've spotted some massive, fire-breathing beast.
