Annoying ads: redirected from the main site to theirs automaticly
I'm just minding my own business when I'm taken to this other website automatically. It happens almost every single time I visit a webpage on this site. Is there a way to avoid this issue or not?
I had to rush to this page as fast as I can to avoid them. That is a problem.
I don't care how it looks but how it functions

Please let me know where you were redirected to. That shouldn't be happening.

Can it be caused by adware on his system? What do you think, SR?

That's odd. It's not occurring anymore. I don't think this occurs often I guess. H/O a sec... I keep seeing something about "connecting to www.picfury.com" on the status bar of my browser. Is that suppose to happen or is it normal? I looked at it but I can't seem to get in directly.

I'm checking the history dictionary of the browser now.
Here's the ones I found:
http://www.hitssupply.com/adserver/?VFJDSz0xMjQ1
http://ad.netcrefer.net/servecs?atype=p0
http://mydishonline.com/14424/
http://landing.trafficz.com/index.php?d … shoes.info

Re: Annoying ads: redirected from the main site to theirs automaticly
I scanned the internet for PicFury and I found out that it is some kind of affiliate image hosting. Meaning ADS.
PicFury is paying you to upload images and then get people to look at them! Every time one of your images is viewed, you get money credited in your account! This is NOT based on unique visitors, but rather image views, meaning that if you upload 10 images, and one user views all 10 images, you get credited 10 times!
trafficz.com is for domain parking. For example, if SR wants to "shut down" SpyroForum temporarily (I hope not, SR
) he will "park" the website name and the contents of the website will be replaced by tons of ads. When he wants to turn it on, the website name will go back to him.

Actually, I believe this happened to me as well - It only happened once, and it (thankfully) hasn't done it again since.

Well, I removed the ad code since it was causing problems.
