Huge Atom Smasher Capable of Destroying the Earth

This is a scare, they have a new Atom Smasher being completed (supposed to have been in January of this year), the Large Hadron Collider is the most powerful smasher ever developed and it is scheduled to start up THIS MAY!

Oh, goodness. Particle Accelerators (aka. Atom Smashers) are kinda controversial too.

Black holes CAN be made, but it is a very, extracaifragilisticallyexpialidousciouslly far away chance!

Black holes, are Infentesamanaly small spects of mass that is smashed into such a small space that with all the mass it causes the gravity. What ever goes into that horizen witch is its gravity is instantly Compressed into the imfentesamaly small spot in less then a thousands of a second. Any thing that crosses that horrizan on its gravity is forced there, its impossible to escape it when you hit that horizan. it takes alot of mass being forced into one infentesamanaly small space just to make a black hole....like when planets impolde. its mass forces it into the Small dot of space and time.

........if they smashed 2 atmos together it would cause radiation and maybe blow them up, but not enough for the whole world....nor create a black hole... A black hole is Alot of mass compressed....Every thing that has mass has gravity, It takes alot of gravity to make a black hole, we dont have enough things and strong enough machens to smash alot of things together and compress them to have the mass start up a horizan of gravity to cause things to be pulled into that small of space.

But if two atoms start to "react" in some way, would the surrounding "walls" of the accelerator add to the reaction?

It depends if they atoms are strong enough to brack the compacted atoms of the metal...Cuse a nuke is a atom breaking a pack of atoms that shoots a atom out and hits more atoms causeing friction whitch is heat. all these atoms breaking eachother cause the explosion. But it really depends on how weak of metal they have the equipment made of also it depends on how well the atoms are at seperating them....i forgot the name of metal they put in nukes that works the best at splitting and causeing the explosion...but its on the peryatic chart. I just forgot the name.

yea.....just so that it isnt on the news that some scientists messed up and there will be billions more cash going down the drain to clean them up off the site and the site itself.

Its an isotope of Uranium they use; Uranium-235. DPX simplified it but yes thats an atom bomb (though its not from friction, its from the radiation released when low-energy neutrons fired at an unstable nucleus breaks it apart into different elements, and producing more neutrons). Theres probably loads of machines whcih various governments around the world have made that are capable of destroying the planet. As they say, what you don't know can't hurt you but can obliterate you before you feel pain lol.
