Re: German language
No, I'm just sticking to one language. it'll make it more simple to learn. I wanted to take Japenese xD, but I don't think I'll ever need it, considering I live in America.

Re: German language
Japanese would be fun. I signed up to take it this year, but not enough people were interested so they cancelled the class. But I think you're right: it's hard enough to learn one language.

Re: German language
Ahhh, but meny languages have the same base. Meaning that if u learn one then you'll be able to learn languages easly....also if things keep up the way they are then you'll need to learn meny diffrent languages....although that alredy is the case at neerly every fast-food joint is like that way

Mo, nothing in English uses the äüöß things. (by the way, how do you type those?) eheh...Hmm...What do they have in common...Well the word order is completely different in German. Bloo could tell you in more detail. For one, she's an English nerd, and she knows a lot more German than me. xD

Why thank you, dear brother.
Well, there are some words in German that I have run into that are spelled exactly the same as in English and mean the same thing. I think they are called "cognates." There are some false ones though, like the word "gift" for example. In English it means a present, but in German it means poison.
We don't use the letters äüöß, but some words use two letters in the place of them. Seemingly random example: The word "phoenix" translates to German as "phönix," which is basically the same spelling. (I only know that because I'm trying to read Harry Potter in German. xD)
