Favorite games?

Well, forgive me if we already have a thread like this, but what games/genres of games do you like to play? I like strategy games, RPGs, and games that combine the two. I also like some shooters.

I like RGPs too, especially Rogue Galaxy. Some driving games like The Simpsons Hit-and-Run amuse me. I remember playing Grand Theft Auto with my cousin when I was about 8. 10 years too young I know, but I enjoyed it. big_smile

Strategy games like Pokemon are good too. Plus games that let me be my creative self, like Animal Crossing and The Sims I enjoy.

And of course, some platformers. As long as they aren't too repetitive. I like Crash's old games and, obviously, both old and new Spyro.

Platformers are my favorite type of games like mario, sonic, the old megaman games and of course spyro.
Other games I like would be racing games, certain fighting games mainly dragonball z and smash bros. I also like some games in the action/adventure genre.
I don't like M rated games though....

RTS meets FPS/TPS is my favorite. Games like Battlezone, Urban Assault, Star Wars:Battlefront ... games that allow me to make a difference for my side while still being just a standard soldier/tank/combat unit. Being able to order the other units is a plus, but not needed.

Though what I don't like are games like the Rogue Squadron series, where everyone on your team is incompetent and you have to save the mission every single time.

Also, games where customization is the rule, like Armored Core, Custom Robo, games where I am fighting using something of my own design.

CoD series, EU3 and HOI2/3, TW series, Civ series, Battelfield, Company of heroes and nearly any FPS. Red Orchestra is just amazing but there are no Aust. servers which is a pain hmm .

Oh and how can i forget guitar hero big_smile . Can do every song except War assemble, through the fire and the flames and jordan

1st: Oblivion, Fallout 3, Call of Duty Series, Freelancer, Team Fortress 2 (Spycheck!!!), Spyro Series, Gears of War Series, Red Faction: Guerilla, Midnight Club 3 DUB, Forza Series, Castlevania Series
2nd: Halo Series, Star Wars Galaxies, Half-Life 2 and Episodes, Midnight Club: LA
3rd: Metroid Series, Super Smash Bros. Series

Can't really think of any others at the moment.

shooting: halo. battlefield/desert combat. super metroid.
driving: need for speed.
other: spore. the sims.

I've recently got into the habit of playing games with unforgivable difficulty (provided that it's not fake difficulty. I've unlocked the option in Punch-Out to make every punch a one-hit KO, for example.
