Death of someone important (to you or others)

I had many pets ( from time 2000-2009, at least 10) but only 2 live today, Marco my dog and Whiskey my rare all-black guinea pig. But do you think this song is appropiate for the death of someone special? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qRixxvu- … re=related
1:26-3:18 is what I am talking about.

Re: Death of someone important (to you or others)

Let's see, my Great-aunt died a few weeks ago, and so did my step-great grandmother. But in true Aceedwin style, I don't really care. I didn't see them much anyway. And I don't see any reason to cry over spilt milk.

Although I have to say, when Molly died, quite recently, I was rather upset. I really liked that dog.

Cue accusations of lies, cruelty and soulessness.

Re: Death of someone important (to you or others)

I had a female black cat who had babies, but a few days latter......*tries to resist crying*.... she killed her own litter for a reason I don't know. :'(  :'(   Same thing with Crystal, my hamster. She had a litter but ATE all but one baby. Then Crystal escaped her cage and was lost forever. A day later, her last baby died. :'(  :'(

Re: Death of someone important (to you or others)

My grandma died on Xmas Eve in 2007. I was crushed. I didn't see her as often as I could've done and xmas will never be the same again. Strange, I didn't cry until the next day. It's mainly shock I feel in these situations, and the sorrow doesn't hit me until later. I miss her, but I know her spirit is with me.

As for pets, I've had very few, just some goldfish and 3 hamsters. They're all dead now, and I was sad when they died because I was young.

Re: Death of someone important (to you or others)

My grandpa died when I was five on my birthday, or a few days before my birthday I think.  The sad thing is that I actually remember him.  He was also a serious chain smoker and I  actually tried to get him to stop.  "Granpa, please stop!  Mommy says that's bad for you and I don't want you to get hurt."  -I think that's what I said.

Not too long afterward he died of either lung cancer or a heart attack, I can't remember which one.  I mean, he did have lung cancer but he may have had a heart attack.  I can't remember which one.  He was really nice too.  I went to my great aunt's funeral just a couple weeks ago and my uncle has five stomach ulcers but he refuses to let the doctors take out his stomach so there's about a 90% chance he'll die.  :'(

My mom told me that when she was my age, 14, she suffered a near-death experience. She said she actually saw Jesus, heaven, and relatives she never knew. But God said it wasn't her time to go. Doctors said it was a miracle. That is what she told me. So basically, I was lucky to be born. If it was her time to go, I wouldn't be here, my brother wouldn't be alive, the heck, we wouldn't even exist.

Wow... I've heard of that happening before. Things like that make me believe. And have faith.

Re: Death of someone important (to you or others)

Every word is true. But I wish my mom didn't go through that experience in the first place, never mind if she goes through it again. My grandma said that my mom could end up in a wheelchair if she gets even sicker. I forgot to mention, my grandma had a stroke but survived, God saved her. She god breast cancer, again God came to the rescue. The doctors said she shouldn't be alive right now. Apparently, they don't know God. My grandpa fell twice and he survived. God is a miracle maker, alright. smile

My nan had breast cancer too, and she's fine now. People surviving things like this makes me feel that God is definetly about. Whereas the death of someone close to me makes me feel the opposite...

We are not arguing. We are being civilized, unlike a certain SOMEONE *points at Aceedwin* who likes to start arguments.  <_<

I know you're not arguing, but all this talk of God's miracles are driving me to the edge. It's like you're luring me into an argumentative spiral.
