Dragon names

I need people to help me come up with some cool names for the dragons and other creatures, I'll even let you describe to me what they look like and I'll take no matter how much I deslike it (Unless someone just makes him/her look really messed up then I wont). If you help me with this I'll be sure to add a special thanks list at the end of my story in "Spyro fan fiction club". I'll add some names up here that way you all can come up with something diffrent. Also if you can come up with some names that have any kind meaning to them please put them on, also if some one has a name that doesn't have the meaning to it (thats if it has a meaning) please let me know as well.

each name (50 gems)
each meaning of a name (100-150 gems)
each combos (200-300 gems)

Re: Dragon names

For a dragoness I guess you could use Zephyr. And to address the names from spyroNcynder... most of those are from the Dead or Alive series. Kasumi means "mist," Ryu is "dragon"... redundant, I know. Hayabusa is "peregrine falcon," Hayate means "quick as wind."

Re: Dragon names

But it least there something rather than nothing and also thanks for giving me the meanings of some of them, that could really help me out.

Re: Dragon names

One of these comes from FF, you'll just have to guess which one.

F = Female, and M = Male

Ddraig ( M or F ) (comes from old britan)

Abraxas ( M or F ) (one quite famous dragon in history... I read this in a history book big_smile )

Brinsop ( M or F ) (A British dragon that lived in a well in Duck's Pool Meadow in Brinsop{that's where the name comes from}. It was killed by a local knight - some say Saint George.)

Drake ( M or F ) (Means dragon, most of you have probably heard this)

Frelke ( M )

Ashe ( F )

Bahamut ( M )  (:)

and...... well this one is quite obvious, so you can't say "where did this one come from?"
Volcanix ( M )

This took quite a while to write, and quite a bit of reasearch. If you need any others, just ask.
Wonder away...

Re: Dragon names

Ashe and Bahamut are both from FF, although I believe Bahamut is a Japanese myth, like Ifrit, or Shiva.

Hmmm...

Luciolos (Loo-See-Yo-Loss)
Denio (Deh-nie-oh)
Refor (Reh-for)
Welto (Well-toe)

Re: Dragon names

Ashe is in the last Final Fantasy which is full of really boring characters running around. Constantly. Although I don't like to use such an opinionated word, it's undeniable. Balthier is cooler than James Bond.

Luckily, for the next one, they've gone all futuristic world with a possible forecast of apocylapse, which is where they've done their best in the past. We should probably make a final fantasy thread. If kingdom hearts gets one,so should FF...

I'm sorry, Is there actually a FF where there isn't something trying to destroy the world (or enslave it)? JENOVA, Sin, Sephiroth. Ect.Ect.Ect. The list goes on and on, i'm just too lazy to list them. But I'm not to lazy to make A new thread. So I'll Start.

Re: Dragon names

So, you want help finding names for your dragons? Whenever I name a new character, dragon or not, I'll do one of these three things:

Pick a random name that I think suits their appearance
Search for meaning of names and pick the one that best suits their personality
Go to a name generator

The names of my characters and their meanings are:

Aria: Gentle music/Beautiful melody
Sage: Wise
Reah: Flowing
Octavian: Eighth
Katrina: Pure
Cecile: Blind
Sade: Honour Brings A Crown
Sam: Listener

Re: Dragon names

No, but when I started this dragon names forum my very first post says how much gems I will give for names you add. It tells you how much each you will earn.
