Re: The Laste of Little Spyro...?
That's a tough question.
I'm personally very attached to the little, hatchling-esque Spyro. I've known him to be like that in the older, funner games and he was also like that in ANB and TEN. However, it was a nice twist to see Spyro as a teen. :3 I wouldn't mind seeing Spyro as an adult one day, since there's never really been an official design of him yet! It's be interesting to see how he'd look.

The teen Spyro looks cool but not as good as the young Spyro, like I said before, Developers: Re-make the first three Spyro games!!!
Hi, I don't know what else to say. LOL

I agree with Dark Master on one of his older posts on this, in my opinion i like the teenage look.

Re: The Laste of Little Spyro...?
Bring back the old Spyro please. Older Spyro had better qualites of a character to me then the new Spyro. New Spyro ... just seemed like a wuss to me. If not whishy-washy. But then again that's because of the bad Story that was TLOS...
I just want the old Spyro back he was far more lovable, cooler, more heroic if not more fiery and notable than the new Spyro.

Re: The Laste of Little Spyro...?
Oops misinterpreted the topic. Referring to as age, or size.. I prefer little Spyro either way. Makes more of a challenge for him to take on a big, or bigger opponent(s) and makes it cooler IMO.

Re: The Laste of Little Spyro...?
I think they should stay with the teenage spyro for a while. but a good idea might be to make little spyro an unlockable in the future games.

Re: The Laste of Little Spyro...?
I don't see how they'd go back to his little design, unless he's sucked into some kind of time portal.
But I never really thought about it. I've been playing Spyro since I was around 9 or so, and I have become a bit *attached* to his smaller design, yet it was a nice twist to see him as a teenager. I also went on Deviantart and saw his "adult" form which was awesome.
But I think they're going to continue with the teen spyro.
My avatar is not my own work.
Link to the original, this artist has a nice gallery ^_^

Re: The Laste of Little Spyro...?
Aww, Spyro's growing up with me. I remember playing Year of the Dragon
when I was young. He was my best friend. Now, he's a teenager like me.
To be honest and weird, Spyro somewhat changed my early years in life. I
was a nerdy kid that didn't have very many friends. So I played Spyro,
and he kept me happy.
Now, judging plainly on what people around me say, I'm a cool guy. The
mature one. The best guitarist the church has ever had. Blah blah blah, I
don't like bragging. But in short, I've changed. And I still love Spyro almost
like a brother.

Re: The Laste of Little Spyro...?
This topic isn't about whining about bringing the old Spyro back, Saeth. It's about if Spyro's going to remain a teenager or stay little for the rest of the franchise.
I call BS on you Aura24, if you wanna bash someone for "whining" then refer to grevious' post:
Okay off-topic:
If you gathered all the pre-TLoS Spyro games, what would you do with them? I would place 7 /12 pounds of C4 explosives on them and blow the ancient games to oblivion.
THAT'S "whining". Of course you WOULDN'T bash Grevious because he agrees with you on liking TLOS Spyro better than Original Spyro. At least Saeth was on topic since they were simply stating that they'd prefer Old Spyro's a.k.a "Little Spyro's" look and gave real reasons why they prefer him.
Maybe YOU should correct yourself before trying to jump on others.
Anyways, in my response to the TOPIC, I would prefer Old Spyro's look. And to back up my reasoning:
The Old Spyro had:
personality
attitude
sense of adventure
spunk
TLOS a.k.a Teenager Spyro is:
"whiny"
visually displeasing (IMO)
based around cliches (The Choooosen One OMG)
overrated Kung-Fu Action Jesus gimmic moves (At least Original Spyro was more dragon-like).
And again to prove my point on the "overrated moves" argument, a scene from the first Spyro the Dragon game between Spyro and Bubba the Beast Maker Dragon:
Bubba: I tell you what to do with those creatures...smash them, Spyro! Stamp them out and squish them and squash them, hahaha...!
Spyro: *sarcastically* Hah, hah...how about, charge them and flame them? We are dragons after all.
Bubba: ..........

Re: The Laste of Little Spyro...?
Orginial spyro was a awesome comedy hero while TLOS was more serious hero.
Why can't we just have both?

Re: The Laste of Little Spyro...?
Dude, that post was made like a few months ago. And I wasn't bashing. This topic is about whether or not Spyro will remain a little dragon or a teenage dragon, not a flame war about which Spyro is better than the other.
Who said it was a flame war? I never thought it was. Are you insinuating that you want to start one?
And if you weren't bashing then don't make comments like "this thread isn't for you to whine about bringing back old Spyro" because even though Saeth said "Old Spyro" he clearly meant "Little Spyro" therefore he was on topic. And so was I. I was merely giving my opinion on why they should go back to "Little Spyro" a.k.a. "Old Spyro"
That is what this topic is about, isn't it?
By the way, it was a couple of months ago your post was made, not a few. Use your vocab better.
Plus, it was still on the front page at the time. Stating how long ago your post was is just a waste of text that doesn't matter in this.
Therefore, repeating yourself isn't helping, Aura24. =/
But still, I don't see you making any statements to someone like Greivious about being off topic. Which I still believe isn't fair at all. What if I said I wanted to blow up all the LOS games? Would I be reprimanded for being offtopic, or will I pass?
Also for the sake of not letting this post go to waste, I really really hope to see a younger Spyro in the next game. w00t!

Re: The Laste of Little Spyro...?
I have no desire to see young spyro after seeing the development towards a more mature spyro. After TEN i always desired to see spyro fully grown, and fully serious... i have always preferred a cool spyro to a cute spyro. a change from the young spyro to the complete opposite, that's what i want.
The soul of the dragon... is pure.

If only life were that simple
.
As soon as people can express their opinions without getting attacked or flamed and if the owners of Spyro actually visit fan forums and listen to their fans then maybe... just maybe...
But anyway... even if they were to combine them or pair them up in a game... let them be small please...
