The Laste of Little Spyro...?

Not a bad idea at all...I'm all for Spyro getting older because I just like to see many different angles and don't mind what comes with them...

The grown Spyro is cooler. He isn't as funny as his Insomniac self, but the maturity is worth it.
If change is done right, it's the best possible solution.

Key phrase being "If it's done right." And right now I have my doubts about it....I have yet to see any company that will put a good amount of work into the newer Spyro series.

Whoever did DotD did pretty good I'd say.

DotD was rushed and it clearly showed. Krome was already producing it when they decided to switch of to EL..and this has left several key points undone and the entire project had to be complete in little time. The Hollywood voice actors were really not needed..(at least the ones who were horrible for having no experience) and they should have developed a more complete storyline.

But yes all things considered the game did not turn out nearly as bad as I believed it would be. It just had the potential to be much much more.

Ummmm no. You see I have this cool little feature that sends me an email whenever someone responds to a topic I'm watching. AKA a topic that I've posted on which is quite a few. Every time someone talks in this topic I see the post...and if I feel I have to respond then I respond.

The only way i can see little spyro coming back is if they do a re-boot of the re-boot. OR if they decided to go back to well, the genesis of spyro as it was before TLOS took over from it, and then starting the olds series again.

I know spyro has to get bigger at some point, but its still as shame to see spyro go big when he was deisgned to be smaller than his enemies sad but if spyro is to carry on its going to have to change at some point.

Yeah, it's a sad thing. The Spyro games where once so succesfull and now the only future I see for the purple dragon is plumeting into a dark, non-escapable pit of failure... sad

Spyro is better in TLoS. The old series makes an 1899 car look like next best thing for 2010. THAT is how bad the old Spyro is.

Ehh, I am actually quite glad that the game got a more serious feeling... IMHO TLoS is better then the old ones... The old ones were fun, but the operative word there is were. They are old, and I think we needed a little bit of a change...

Okay off-topic:

If you gathered all the pre-TLoS Spyro games, what would you do with them? I would place 7 /12 pounds of C4 explosives on them and blow the ancient games to oblivion. smile

It would be weird to have an age revert wouldn't it?

some time from now I see Spyro returning to something more like the origionals... after some long period of time... (15-20 years +) If Spyro continues to run.. however most people belive that the world will end in 2012... in this is true (which it isn't) we might not see but one or 2 new spyro games at all...

That's a ridiculous thing the say. The classic Spyro games were brilliant.
