Lots of things.
I'll listen to lots of things from James Blunt to Alesana.
My favorite band(s) are Aiden/William Control/Rock n Roll Weekend, AFI/Blaqk Audio, Placebo, Madina Lake, Alesana, Ludo, Shiny Toy Guns, Eye Alaska and tons of others...

Re: Music
I'm not really fussy when it comes to music. At the moment I'm into symphonic metal bands like Within Temptation, but I also like R'n'B, club/bassline (as long as it's not over the top) and pretty much anything else. There's hardly any artists/bands that I say, "Ugh! Not listening to this ****!" when they come on the radio. The odd few, but not many...

Re: Music
Yeah, I love rock. My ears bleed when I hear that pop culture music, like
R&B, pop, rap, etc. Including Green Day. That band sucks.
My 3 faves are Oasis, Creed, and Alter Bridge.
Hear music. Play music. Live music. Love music.

Re: Music
Yeah. Gotta love the Chili Peppers. I had heard lots of their songs but didn't actually know that it was them until later. Their tone has changed dramatically over the decades. I mean compare Stadium Arcadium to Blood Sugar Sex Magik. So much difference it's not funny.

Re: Music
I love video game music, as well as a lot of stuff from the 80s-90s period. Seriously, today's music is turning into a pile of crap.

Re: Music
Hey, Alter Bridge is good for modern music. Even if you choose to differ,
please view this video anyway. I hope it will change your mind at least a
little bit. I love this song from my heart.

Re: Music
There's only a few types of genres I won't listen to. Certain types of 'oldies' just burn my ears. Favorite bands would prolly be Emilie Autumn, Kittie, and System of a Down.

How is that so? I'm open-minded when I listen to music, and, like I said, there's only a few I won't listen to.

YOU are the one with a narrow mind in music; I think that you're the victim.

Re: Music
I'm into things like Disturbed, Trivium, Metallica, Megadeth, heck, almost anything heavy metal, hard rock, or punk (yes, I like Green Day, only song I really heard though was American Idiot on a Call of Duty video on YouTube). I do like to go softer with things like Evanescence, Hoobastank, Alter Bridge, and Papa Roach (not the rappy songs, I'm talking about the Getting Away with Murder album)

Re: Music
Green Day...they're okay, just too mainstream. I honestly haven't heard any of their songs other than American Idiot and something about walking down a street...and I can't judge completely from that.

I like some of the Guns n Roses song, it can just be hard to tolerate Axel's singing. Oh yeah, how could I forget Linkin Park! I've liked them for ages. Disturbed? Ehh, some of their stuff is okay. Wooh! Chili Peppers!

Re: Music
I don't really have any favorite bands, but I got a decent MP3 player for my birthday, and I have about 20 songs on it now.... It's a lot of different stuff, no specific bands or genres in particular.
And also, can we try and not attack people about their favorite bands, please? Everyone has different tastes; just because someone doesn't like the same music you do doesn't mean they're a "victim to society" or whatever was said.

Re: Music
yeah.. lol that tends to happen on forums.. idk y but it always does....
Axel's Singing can be hard to make out but it doesn't seam to bother me...
Ozzy bothered me for some time but then I found crazy train lyrics and then it cleared up a great bit...
Modern Rock? yeah it's ok... try this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7_C2SnUnO3k
(sorry I'm doing a quick post and idk how to do it properly.. lol.. cut and paste time!)
