hey dose any one has gimp photshop?....do you use it better than paint in the start button????

I got GIMP. When I first got it, I was amazed with all it could do compared to MS Paint, but after using some other programs in school, it doesn't seem that great. But at least it's legally free.

GIMP is too laggy... I trust good 'ol photoshop to make sprites for my games.
I also use illustrator, since tablets work well with it.

I did try GIMP once, but since I have Photoshop, it's nothing compared to it in my opinion. Still was a cool programme from what I can remember though. 
If you ever see me acting normal, you'll know there's something wrong.

GIMP is pretty good for signature making, but not for drawing on. I'd much rather use paint for that.

I have it. It's not a bad substitute for Photoshop for me, because it does basically everything I need it to do.
I just color some of the pictures I draw, and make avatars and banners on it.
Cesna: Just play around with it a little bit to get used to all the tools. That's how I learned to use it.

Its fine. It seems utterly useless compared to the programs a spoiled artist like me has. But It was fun to play around with the effects. XD
