Windows Movie Maker Trouble

Out of the forums I go on, I feel that this one is the most likely to know about things like this.

As a few of you might know, I like to make MVs with clips from games and movies. I got a new set of them last night, but when I uploaded the clips, the WHOLE THING came up all in one little square, if you know what I mean. There is no possible way that I am going to drag down over an hour of clips and trim through them every time I want to make a video.

My question here is: Does anyone know how to make the "collection" of that set of clips put into parts and to leave them that way instead of chopping the thing up every time I drag it down onto the timeline?

I know that some of you may say "Just get a new video program". I don't want to, and secondly, I can't. I'd like to stick to using Windows Movie Maker. This would really help if someone knew what to do. I've tried to reupload it to WMM but it still came in as one big piece.

Re: Windows Movie Maker Trouble

I've also had the same problem with WMM. Did you let the whole clip of whatever you're downloading load all the way?

Try right clicking on the whole clip and see if it says Create Clips
If so then click it...it should then make the whole thing into smaller clips.

винт это. винт все это и оставь меня.

Re: Windows Movie Maker Trouble

Just as he said.
I know this is sort of off topic, but would you be so kind and tell me how to add music to your clips? XP

Re: Windows Movie Maker Trouble

This can be a WMM help thread. wink

There is a place where you can drag audio to your clips, below the clip bar. If you want it to be the audio only with no sound from the video, click on the volume button to the right of the timeline tray.

Re: Windows Movie Maker Trouble

Don't use YouTube for making AMVs/Music Videos anymore. They've officially ruined the fun of sharing them there. Go to a site such as:

http://clipupload.com

http://imeem.com

These sites are much more fun. I'd say out of the two you should use Imeem, as there are more AMV makers there.

Re: Windows Movie Maker Trouble

OK.

#1. Open up the video that you've created. On the left, bar where the tasks are, click "Save to My Computer". Wait for the few minutes that you want it to save, and then you'll be able to upload it to sites.
