This is the tread where you tell everyone how Spyro has changed throughout
this time.
I'll get some Spyro pictures & the Legend of Spyro pictures so everyone can see how he has changed...

Spyro 1,2 and 3 were the best. I also have ETD, ANB and TEN. Soon I want to try out DotD and AHT.

i gt spyro 1,2 and 3 also ETD,AHT and also ANB, TEN and DOTD basicly all of the spyros that r on teh main consoles nt handhelds and i think the first 3 r best

i don know, man... i didnt play others then the first 7 ones (psx and gameboy) But i like the idea of making at least one "epic" game, with an older spyro, romance....... But i think i preffer the old ones

I've played all of the PSX/PS2 ones (except for DOTD) but I think the new one looks the best smile
Sorry fans of the old series...But I just think he looks more realistic and like a dragon than in the old ones... hmm

same here bt the original spyro was the best bt i admit the DOTD looked good in how it was deisgned i liked the look of it to b honest casue hes grown up a bit bt i dnt want him to grow up to much cause spyro should b small

it's just a different approach. My favorite not really...but I still like it for what it is. Pretty pointless thing to argue about in the end.

I'm more into tLoS games more, DotD is my favorite Legend of Spyro game ever! spyro
Reasons I like DotD:
Fly at any time, < Dream come true!
Be Spyro or Cynder, < Dream come true!
Fight Malefor (the Dark Master), < Dream come true!
Have great armor (nuclear hit (Spyro's)/ poisonous hit (Cynder's), immune to stun, Fury breath unlocked (armor powers)).

See, it's great!
Oh, & Spyro dose NOT get uglier!

As much as I enjoy your enthusiasm I have to say that this topic is about the style of the Spyro character himself....don't be breaking it down into comparing the games as to avoid flame wards.

I'm not saying everyone should like it most, I'm just saying how I like it most.
Oh, and why does everyone like the original series (Spyro the dragon/ Gate way to Glimmer/ Year of the Dragon) most?

Because this website is home to a vast amount of Spyro fans...mostly tilting towards those who enjoy the older games more. It's just their personal preference...they like the games for what they are and didn't want to see them change.

Nothing bad about it....this site is just a home for many of them...and they respect the older games more for their own reasons all of them. That's just the way it is....and you can't really change minds about it.

Anyway, Cynder herself said 'I love you' at the end of DotD.
Now back to how Spyro has changed throughout the series.

Well...I can personally say that my favorite designs are tied between his very first one and his very latest one....but It's hard for me to really decide on only one...eh screw it.
