WAR ON GAZA
If you have been listening to the news lately Gaza is under fire by Israel. No food is getting into the country due UN food agency trucks constantly under fire leaving many residents without food and water or essential supplies.
Today Israel warns Gaza of a new phase of war by dropping flyers into Israel.
This war has claimed 821 lives in Gaza leaving 3,350 wounded.
According to paramedical sources, there have been 235 children, 90 women and 12 medics among the casualties in Gaza, CNN reported.
A little comic I found on the net about this war:

Re: WAR ON GAZA
Israel is God's chosen city of God's chosen people. I don't know why they
are attacking this place.
... And I thought Gaza is called Gazala, unless I'm getting it mixed up with
a city where a known WWII battle took place.

Actually, it was Gaza that provoked the attack. Israel could only tolerate it for so long.

Re: WAR ON GAZA
From what I know, The Humas were attacking Israel from Gaza with rockets, and eventually that ticked Israel off so they started to fight back. They will only agree to stop once the Humas do not have the ability to fire any more rockets, meaning they destroy all their weapons or the Humas gives them up.

Re: WAR ON GAZA
When you have been waging a holy Jihad like the Arabs have for the last 500 years...they are just licking their chops to get at the Isrealis so that they can reclaim Jerusalem again. Go watch the movie Kingdom of Heaven...that's basically the same thing....except this time the Isrealis have Nukes....and they don't exactly want another Halocaust happening anytime soon.....they will wipe every single Arab out first before that happens.

Re: WAR ON GAZA
I understand Israel is ticked off, but if some idiots are launching rockets at them, why bomb the whole city? Just catch the terrorists and such and that's it. Now you got Lebanon firing at Israel. USA beside Israel, Greece helping Gaza's wounded soldiers. And soon, Turkey might come in and attack Israel too.
War is war, it will happen and no one can stop it.

Re: WAR ON GAZA
The world has been on the brink of WW3 for over 30 years. The scary thing about today's world is, yes, everyone has access to nucleur weapons...or other weapons of extremely deadly capability.
Almost every single nation out there is just one red button push away from launching an atomic blast...and the horrible thing about it is...this world is so full of nutcases and criminals that any of them would be praying for the chance to launch something that deadly.
But yes....everyone has the capability of launching another war...the only problem now is...you can no longer wage "total warfare" on somone without annihilating the entire world while you do it...that's just the scary part about the world we live in today.
StratosP-The Israel's have been through hell once...and they were given their country afterwards to help make up for such horrifying events done unto them by Nazi Germany...and believe me when I tell you.....they are not scared to kill anyone who threatens their peace. Even if it is a bunch of idiots launching rockets, it makes no difference to them in the end.....The U.S.A. is their allies, for example, and many years back they attacked one of our intelligence ships on purpose because they thought we were snooping around in their business...
Trust me they are more then willing to destroy anyone who is going to threaten them with death and destruction...and if they are indeed scared enough to do so...they will completely destroy the Arab population. It's just something that will never end thanks to the creation of the "kingdom of heaven."

Re: WAR ON GAZA
No it never really will end. So long as the majority of the Middle East continues to believe in the holy Jihad.

Re: WAR ON GAZA
All I can really say is that War is now part of life since its been going on for more than a couple thousand years, so War will always happen no matter what. There is no stoping it.
As long as there is Hate there is War.

Re: WAR ON GAZA
thats why i believe the world's gonna end, someday, somehow... but at this rate, it will be by our own hands.
Natural selection make species like us dominate the world, this species become more inteligent and create more destructive weapons, this species, then, destroy everything and this cycle starts all over again.... we are in the final stage, thats all... well, thats what i believe.

Re: WAR ON GAZA
And that is very well possible...I also have looked at the law of natural selection and how it pertains to our society today...and believe me...nature will come due when it is ready....things have really changed since hundreds of years ago...people are not the same and never will be. A common goal is impossible to attain....and all we can do is sit back and wonder just when and where the first incident takes place..
I pray that it is long after I depart this lifetime....and even then I fear for whatever lineage that passes on...

Re: WAR ON GAZA
We had a bunch of protesters in Atlanta today. It was crazy. Especially with supporters of both sides of the war there. The police force ended up having to come out and part the two groups.
It would be great if the UN could find a way to stop both sides from fighting, but I doubt that will happen since Israel has the momentum.

Re: WAR ON GAZA
I've been going back and forth on joining the army. Especially since my grandfather and dad used to be in it.
Military isn't really an option for me anymore though. Lost interest in joining.

Yeh you can join at 15. Once you turn 18 you MUST join the army for 2 years I think it is. For me I have to join for I think 6 months if I choose to live in Greece because I'm born and living in Australia.
But I wouldn't mind it, do something different, other than staying in school, going to work and doing the same crap your whole life, I might as well go outside and enjoy life, handle a gun, do something for my country.
Help out in war too which will be terrifying but I would go.
