Some people just like to create random shippings. Maybe they didn't like Spyro with Ember, so they put Ember with Flame.

That's probably the jut of it, yes. I don't think Spyro is actually interested in Ember at all. It's more like Ember wants him more and he just doesn't say for her to back off and find somebody else. I wouldn't say that to her. She would just go cry and tell everyone what a cold-hearted guy he is and start having a bad reputation despite the fact that he helps save everyone time and time again.

Yeah but EmberXflame sounds right and i get the feeling in the Original universe Flame stalks her.

Well it just started out as a random ship lol...after most saw and didn't agree with the whole SpyroXEmber thing...they kinda just threw the last two dragons together lol....and I guess it does kind of make sense lol..Flame pretty much seeing Spyro as his idol....and Ember chasing him like a fangirl.....it was pretty good chemistry for a fanfic lol...so that's pretty much how it fell into place.

I like the pairing...just seems more right to me I guess...

Yeah, that just seemed weird to me. I joked with DDR about refusing to give Ember the love letter from Bandit because Spyro was secretly in love with Ember. tongue

lol that would funny it would cynder and spyro walking on a beach and flame and ember r following but keep hiding whneever they turn around in teh end spyro and cynder would get annoyed which would lead them to getting a restraining order on flame and ember lol

There's a lot of random pairings out there. Doesn't mean it wouldn't fit. I support this coupling also. ^^ I mean, I love Ember and Cynder, but I've just seen more interactions between Spyro and Cynder, which made me like them as a couple. I don't think Spyro hated Ember at all, I mean, he was a whelp. You know how kids are, they don't understand love. He may have been good friends with Ember, for all we know. So I really do like the EmberxFlame pairing, a lot. As much as I like the CynderxSpyro pairing. Seems fair to me.

Well yeah it would make sense...but their was never a push to start anything between Ember and Spyro go begin with lol...just fanfiction pairings pretty much....that and it was the only female character that was also a dragon involved with a Spyro game....so people would see that...but even for Spyro's character in the old games I wouldn't see him every getting with her lol....but the EmberXFlame thing is also created by fans..and with even less evidence...but it was just as possible as anything between her and Spyro...but yeah for now I'll just stick to Spy and Cyn lol...

Yeah it prolly is the most popular one that doesn't involve Spyro lol...but then again their are not many other pairings out there...but Flame and Ember is very very easy for me to write about..because they do fit together rather well if you think about it..

Their personalities seem to complement eachother, imo. It was mainly started, like others said, because there was no real reason to pair Ember and Spyro. Even though they never officially met, I think it's safe to say they'd make a good pairing. I like both pairings, to be honest.

Well yeah I am a fan of both pairings in a way as well....I mean when I first joined fanfiction for example...the only real couple to write about was Ember and Spyro....but as things started rolling with LoS...a lot of people switched over to Cynder...and I personally just felt that she was much more suited to the role....that and she is really cool to write about lol....while Ember I usually leave to Flame....but I will still read a good SpyroxEmber story if I see fit.
