Stepmania

I just downloaded it 2 days ago! Then I was looking through themes for it and found a Spyro and Bleach one. I downloaded both and put on the Spyro one. GUESS WHAT?! Razz’s art was on it! When it says caution and stuff, it was the picture of Elora looking for something in Sheila’s (I think her name was) pouch! I would film it if I knew how to film the computer screen. Or where I could download Hypercam.... Other than that I can’t beet Caramelldansen, or Butterfly mega remix but I have beaten the finalists pack (Hooke, Supremacy, Z, and something else I think it was). Castles in the Sky I’ve gotten to stage 2 somehow....

Re: Stepmania

I make simfiles for stepmania. If you're interested in playing some of the songs I stepped, just ask.

Re: Stepmania

I haven't played Stepmania, but it's basically DDR so, I don't really need to. A pad wouldn't work with my computer anyway.

Re: Stepmania

You don't need a dance pad, it's just the arrows on the computer. And Bmah, which songs have you stepped? I only have I think 4 songs so far. XDD

Yeah, I know. But playing with your feet is a lot more fun. I've played Flash Flash Revolution, but it's not really the same when there's no movement. That's just me though.

Re: Stepmania

Usually depends on what you started with. Some people will devote themselves to Stepmania (and/or FFR) exclusively, and some will find DDR more enticing overall. I started with playing DDR by feet, then I moved on to Stepmania and FFR later - I found that the latter allowed me to use my creativity in stepping songs. I also have a lot more freedom in choosing the songs I want to edit or step.

And SpyroandCynder4EVAH, I've stepped a ton of stuff; I don't know if you're interested in the music genres. I'll PM you a list or something.

Re: Stepmania

Some people will agree with you. And others will kill you for saying that. xD
The whole "rhythm game for your fingers" idea is quite addicting if you let it get to you.

Re: Stepmania

Oops. Shall I hire a guard? :3 Dieing seems inconvenient.

Anyway. I guess playing it with your fingers is rhythmical, as is the piano. but It still tears at the whole interaction theme. Then again, its just my opinion. I'm just being silly. :B

Re: Stepmania

Ah. Yes. It maybe saves you the loot for a game system though...Nah. DDR is ideal for me. Besides, you could totally use the mat as an electric blanket. :'D

Re: Stepmania

XD Ahah. Yes, that would be very uncomfortable. I have the plastic pad, you know, the one that sticks to your feet if you don't wear socks, and when you do wear socks, you slide off. :3

Re: Stepmania

Haha, soft pads are annoying. Me and my sister finally decided to get a metal one after going through a couple of those. It's lasted 2 years now, so it was a good deal.

The games? It kind of depends on the game. I'm sure you could find some used for $15 to maybe $30 For DDR pads, it basically depends on what kind of quality you want. I personally have had real bad luck with soft pads, but if it's just going to be something you're going to keep low-key and not get into expert levels, soft pads are only about $20.

Ok. *hours later* That was fun! I had to go to several stores! Best Buy (mom calls saying it's sold out before I get to the store), Game Stop (not even there), Sears (where did all the DDRs go?!), Online (parents say I can't order it), and finally Target! The guy there couldn't find it and I was like, "If you don't have DDR in stock then what is that? *points at box that says, Dance Dance Revolution X*"

Then we bought it (plus membership it was.... I dunno how much off). And I just stoped playing it and it is 12:43 right now over here and why am I saying 'it" so many times?!
