What's the longest you've gone without peeing?

I was just reading about a "Hold your wee for a Wii" contest that a radio station was holding, where entrants had to drink a certain amount of water at intervals, and whoever held in their urine the longest, won a Nintendo Wii (a lady died from drinking too much water... water intoxication or something?). o_O

What's the longest you've gone without peeing? Me, about 13 hours.

I usually go about a day between each.

But my longest I've held a constant stream is about 49 seconds at this point.

That really depends on how much I've drank, but it's not a very good idea to hold it. I have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays that range from 9:50AM-6:55PM, with a lunch break around 3-something to 5:00PM depending on when the third class ends, and I'm pretty sure I've held it long until around 15 hours on days where I have projects to finish. But that's usually because I haven't drank so much for it to bother me.

I go as soon as I get up, which is at 7 AM or so. On project days I eat lunch at the school which cause me to skip using the bathroom, and then I'll stay with some friends in the studio after my fourth class working on the project until the time the studio closes, which is 10 PM. That's 15 hours.

So I'm pretty sure I've done that numerous times unless it's really, really unbearable because we've been drinking coffee or something, so I'll hold it for 13 hours.

Also, that contest might be a little unfair for women because I heard they have worse bladders. I can't remember if it's true or not though, but I wouldn't be surprised because in my family, the women have all the bladder problems.

I COULD go for days or even moths without peeing..its simple..dont drink anything..BUT then you'd be looking like bones.

When we were holidaying/driving in outback Australia, we didn't really go. The pit toilets stunk, and there was no place to hide from traffic. sad

I’ve done that sometimes, when I have university classes and lots of study, and drink nothing.

Hmm... I've probably gone somewhere around 8-9 hours without peeing, although I've never really kept track. And I'm talking about during the day, not while I'm sleeping.

Sorry if I sound gross: If a person holds it in for too long, they will most
likely get a bladder infection. Then, it will hurt too much to pee, that they
won't be able to pee. So to avoid horrible injury from not peeing, they
have to force it out, and take all the pain.
