Will there even be any future Spyro trilogies/game series coming?

I'm not sure, but I think Spyro's dun with the saving world biz....................for a while........plus, I believe there will be another series of trilogy coming out, but I don't know when and how the story line will be created.

even thoue I love the originolls I wouldent want the new story to die so quikly so my wish is foe them to make games for both storys

That would be cool I don't want the new ones to die and I would love to have the orginals back it would be a slice of both sides so to speak.

Chirs Wilson verified that they are going to continue with the storyline and characters from the LOS series. The whole point of the reboot was to create a new world and a new face for the Spyro franchise....so they are def sticking with the LOS series.

Not that I mind...I like the story a whole lot better......but the gameplay still needs to be improved.

No problem. I was pretty ecstatic when he said that too. I'm really looking forward to that more then the movie.....depending on how it goes.

Go check over on Sierra Forum if you want to...though I'm pretty sure they moved it...or they were going to.....but if he is gonna lie to everyone then don't say anything at all.....didn't seem like too much of a riddle...but he was pretty clear on the fact they would not return to the original formula...so believe whatever you want....I doubt he would twist things that immensly.

Well I guess that could work lol...but I can't really see a Spyro game where you don't actually play Spyro.

I would certainly be less involved...and we already know that it couldn't be another purple dragon...seeing as how one is only born every 10 generations or w/e it is.

Could happen but I prefer it doesn't.

No! I said that you could ALREADY play as multiple Characters in A Spyro game, you could play as 7 different ones in Spyro 3.
Oh and for the people who are obsessed with the TLOS Story, just let it be! Sierra had a chance to have a good ending in TLOS 3 and they didn't, and you have to live with an unresolved cliffhanger. And in terms of gameplay and most everything else, TLOS is a fail, so stop worrying about your story and continue TLOS in your fanfiction if you want to hear it.
games are about gameplay NOT ABOUT A REALLY LONG STORYLINE
Besides, the best thing that people have come up with to continue the TLOS series is:
"The dark master is reserected and Spyro And cynder must team up again to destroy him"
or
"Spyro and Cynder have an egg and when they're baby grows up he has to destroy gauls son"
.....or something.
If sierra know what they're doing, they shouldn't reserect characters which have officialy died. Immagine if George Lucas suddenly decided to make a star wars 7 where darth vader was reserected.

For crying out loud I wasn't even responding to you...so get off your perch and take a chill pill. The story was an experiment from the beginning...something new to attempt to draw gamers in.

The point you make about it being a complete FAILURE is simply your rationale for continuing to cry for the old freaking games. Deal with it! The games are done and unless they decide to make a serious change they are not going to return to them.

Just because you didn't enjoy the freaking storyline doesn't mean your absolutly right on your narrow views. For crying out loud I wish that they could also find ways to connect the two series..because I loved that series for what it was and this one for what it is. I will always support the franchise no matter what kinda game they put out....but it was certainly a better direction then the last two games of the older franchise started moving in.

Well the Question is asking what should be comming up for spyro, and i hope they go back to the originals....

No you don't, you believe that they shouldn't be connected... "connecting the two would just really seem pointless"...thats what you said, not that you would love them to be connected....
I recon even though ETD and AHT were terrible games, they were still better than ANB, TEN and DOTD in creating a SPYRO game. And dont start and say that "its a reboot so they have to be different" because the reboot is the thing that has ticked off original fans, the fact that they did decide to completely change the series.
Apart from Spyro, I can't think of any series which has rebooted a series and completely trashed what the series was about.

The whole connection thing is perfectly possible...but uhhh...good luck finding someone that would put such effort into attempting something. I personally can't see how you can have a Spyro game with two different Spyro's. Just too farfetched.

And if you don't want people to call you angry then work on your grammar or something...easy mistake to make.

And very honestly if you think that ETD and AHT were better then ANB and TEN...(which I think they are about equal..but that's just me)..then that shows just how desperate you are for them to "reconnect" the old series.

ETD totally trashed the reputation Spyro was given by Insomniac...and AHT attempted to fix that....but it still came up short. Those two games were part of the older series downfall no matter how much you liked them or not....so they took it in a different direction and that's that.

Personally I'm sick of arguing over it...because it's gonna be the same thing no matter what. You will have those who want the return of the old games..and those perfectly content with how it is now....nobody is really going to budge on the issue....so that's the most negative thing the LOS caused.....spliting everyone like this......but they went for change.....and change will bring both joy and despair. We can only wait to see where they take it next.

I'll support Spyro no matter what direction they take it.
