That's the proper fixing technique.

Re: Stunts
please guys, stop arguing, and to you Atresac, i do backflips because i want to..........
wow, thats even stupider than if you actually had a reason ("because i want to" is to "why do you do this?" as "because i said so" is to "why do i have to?")

Re: Stunts
Im just going to ignore everyone elses posts... Anyways DarkMaser, if you do have an interest in doing these type of things, then you should check out Parkour. Its a sport that I think would perfectly suit you.
If you dont know what it is, check it out and see for yourself.

people enjoy graffiti, but if youre not an idiot then youll go about legal ways of doing it, in which you're not defacing property that people have spent their own money on
people enjoy doing backflips but the "not-stupid" way of doing things is to do it in controlled conditions and be professionally trained
even stuntmen for the most part have a strict set of safety precautions to take and even when they dont, theyve practiced and been trained for years so they know exactly how to land without hurting themselves
now, people have broken their spines leaning back on their chairs, doing backflips off of objects onto hard surfaces is sure as heck going to be more dangerous
so how about you stop encouraging the idiot (not that anything anyone says is going to penetrate that thick skull anyway)

Re: Stunts
The point of my post was encouraging him to join a sport that involes the things he likes to do, and besides, theres absolutly nothing that any of us can do about it.
but Ill have to agree partailly with fletch talon, SAFETY SHOULD BE YOUR #1 PRIORITY WHILE DOING THESE THINGS DARKMASTER.

Re: Stunts
PROTIP: If there good enough they remove the soft mat and try it then
PROTIP: watch the olympics
"Another gymnastics event that both male and female athletes strive to perfect is the floor exercise. This event allows competitors to express their personalities through a choreographed routine of dance and acrobatics. The floor on which these routines are performed is covered by an American National Standard. ASTM F1931-98(2004), Standard Test Method for Characterization of Gymnastic Landing Mats and Floor Exercise Surfaces covers the measurement of shock absorption characteristics and rebound properties of landing mats and floor exercise surfaces. With the guidelines in this standard, athletes can reduce risk of injury while ensuring that mats used in training and competition have the same hardness and shock absorption."

besides which, when you actually are good enough (your own opinion not withstanding) to do this stuff without a mat, then maybe we wouldnt make such a big deal out of it... though considering your just being a show off at school cuz you cant seem to find any other way to get noticed, i would still think its stupid, whether you were a master gymnast or not

Re: Stunts
The professional gymnasts don't jump on hard ground, they jump on special platforms made for them (hint when watching the Olympics the ground they were flipping etc on bounced and recoiled under their feet. The only reason that some of them don't get hurt when they do fall is because they jump on that. I know that this is what Fletch has just said, but I had to read it twice before I understood it so I was just simplifying it! XD
