Has anyone seen the movie yet?
It's been greatly anticipated. I wanted to see it so bad, but the tickets were sold out. sad
I'll have to wait ...
So, any reviews on the the movie? It looks like it would be great.

I just saw it at the drive-in theater near me. I heard in New York it's sold out for the next three fragging weeks.

But it was really good, but a bit on the long side. It's not a bad thing, but your mind may start to wander during one of the slower parts and you'll find you missed a key moment.

It's definitely different than any other batman movie ever. It's very, very dark and sadistic. But it all betters it as a whole. Ledger did excellent as the joker, giving him a bunch of quirks and mannerisms to really flesh out the character.

But I always thought that Batman Begins was meant to be a prequel to the original 1989 Batman movie with Michael Keaton, as was The Dark Knight. But this just sort of goes against all of that so it's basically a new series altogether.

Also, it changed some things from the original comic story. So if you're into canon as far as comic-to-movie things go, you may be disappointed with some parts, but all that does is establish it as more of its own movie, rather than a spinoff.

This movie was awesome. Easily beats Indy 4 and Iron Man.

Best so far this summer.

I want to see this movie so bad!!!!! Oh, by the way, Batman Begins comes on tonight at 8/7c on Fox. (Channel 31) I live in Bowling Green KY and we have two big theatres, Great Escape 10 and 12 I think, but I went to imdb.com (Stands for internet movie data base) and it said that the closest theatre it's playing at is the Marquee Highland Cinemas, in GLASGOW!!! o_O

The only thing is that "The Dark Knight" has been trademarked for years. They had the idea long before you most likely as the new batman's were planned out years ago.

It was just an incident in which two minds thought alike. smile

Though I'm sure there's been a lot more than two minds that came up with a deliciously generic yet dark and mysterious name such as "The Dark Knight". Heck I bet even Star Wars has done something along those lines. Along with anyone who's ever decided to write a medieval-themed story ever.

I'm going to see it tomarrow, but after reading some real good reviews on Yahoo and some other few websites, they gave the movie an A+ and also mentioned that Ledger did a fantastic job on Joker. So I can't wait to see it either.
