What would you put in a time capsule?

A group of chosen persons by the goverments worldwide got each of their own time capsule (in this case us). Anything can be placed in each time capsule, no matter how big or small it is. But each capsule can only contain 6 objects. The time capsules has a timer, so once they're closed there is no way possible to open them before the timer reaches zero. The timer will be set to 666 years, meaning that it will open in year 2674. (don't get trapped in the capsule)

What would you put in YOUR time capsule? What do you want to show the future generations?

Remember. Many of todays object won't exist in the future. So writing what it is on the note is (not really*) required.

*As long as it is a decent description it's fine... can be whatever. take a Spyroplush and say that it's God or somfin'.

here is my time
Things I want in the time capsule:
Picture of Panda - This is what a panda looked like. One of all the pretty animals in the world we are about to exstinguish or have already exstingushed.
Bag of flower seeds - THe only green things we keep now adays is money notes. If this continue you won't find these in the future. I'm pretty sure you've never experienced these before, they smell nice.
Mobile Phone - Mobile Phone: Sends out waves and stresses people every hour 24/7. I can't take it anymore, so I'll dig it down with the rest.
Shiny Blue Rock - Pretty thing. I have no clue what it is, but I found it at the beach this morning, it shines.
Coffe Dispensor - Anti-gravitation device: remember to add candle wax.
Paper Clip - Our most high technological advanced transport device today. Manual not included as it should be easy to use and control aswell in the future.

The time capsule would break before it reached 666 years. Where do you plan on putting the thing, anyway? Because keeping them in a building wouldn't work - most buildings nowadays aren't built to last even twenty years, and the underground would make the capsule crumble apart, what with mounting pressure and seismic activity and what-not.

By the year 2674, we probably still won't have the technology to make a capsule last 666 years, knowing our progress. Then there's the issue of whether we haven't all died off anyway, by that point. In which case, the capsule would have no purpose.

I would put in my timecapsule...

1. A computer
2. My Wii (It could be the only OLD Wii in the future)
3. My art book (so people can see my drawings and I can remember them.)
4. A Car (Truck)
5. This forum (LOL XD)
6. And... Anastasia (My fav. movie that is still played on VCR)

3. A notebook - written on it are instructions on how to use the games

2. A computer - to show history of technology
3. My mp3 (full battery) - Showing the old music culture
4. Pictures of nature - to show old environments
5. A message written by me - to tell them something

I would probably add a Starbucks cup. On the note explaining the object it would say:

Starbucks Paper Cup - This is the thing that keeps humans going nowadays. Bu putting magic inside it a human being can receive pleasure for atleast 2 hours. I'm sorry, but todays Monday so the place where you get the magic was to filled with people. Maybe you still have magic in the future?

so thats actually 18 things lol but isnt it smart to put two other capsules in because the first capsul can contain anything lol

xD yes. The capsules can contain anything. no matter which size. You could fit an elephant or the moon in it.

like:
Moon - The moon, this was a mythical creature once flying over the sky each night. It doesn't exist in the future simply because the US president saw it as a potencial threat if it someday decided to crash down on the earth. The president sent up 400 armed men on Paper Clips in order to bring it down to earth, he had it placed it away for good. I stole it.

Remember to put notes on your objects people. Or else the people in the future will know nothing about what they're looking at tongue

Art, it would probably be very valuable and be worth a lot to whoever opened the capsuoles.

also comodities like, oil, gold, platinum and steel since they will probably have run out by then

Okay xD.
But if you could place and endless amount of those last objects mentioned, doesn't that mean that they would run out today?
That would mean that YOU were the reason to why they ran out in the first place big_smile .

And I'm purdy sure that they have other things going in the future. They're using water as fuel and plastic as steel. smile After all. If everything, (bullets, guns, boats, etc). was made of plastic it would be the same as if it was all made of steel. That plastic is stronger than the other one, and so on...

I would probably put myself in the capsule o_O
I'm so clumsy. The chances of me to fall into it, and close it is HUUUGE.
