Why did you choose your username?

The reason I named myself that because it shows my personality. It's double sided. Also shows balance. Why? The word "doppelganger" means 'evil twin.' But am I evil? No. Do I have a twin? No.

2. Doppel

People are messing up my name so I have shortened it. However, I never PM'd SR to change my username. Probably never will.

One Rule:
If you have changed your name, tell your previous names and why did you pick it. If possible, you can also say why did you replace it.

shadowsfall was a dragon of mine and he WAS my friend. he still is but now special thanks to Ayumi_the_Dark_Wolf i love wolfs...the feeling of wolfs i have not felt in ages and he brought it back to me. thank you. now i will change it to a wolf name for real!

I chose Syler Bladewing because it was the original name of my fan character a long time ago.
My signature refers to myself as Kira, a name from the Anime Death Note.

Mine is a pretty obscure reference to some video game character that used to be extremely popular about ten years ago but with each passing year seems to lose a few more fans and now has a very select fan base. Not a character that would necessarily interest you nor you know about so I just won't even bother mentioning it.

I chose DragonWithinMe because about an year ago, I started have strange feelings. Those feelings grew by the summer and in the end of autumn I started to be dragon minded.
Then I thought I have dragon within me so there's the reason.

Well my username is obviousy based on Ratchet from Ratchet and clank, but it came from about 3 years ago when i got the nickname ratchet (i dont know why, it was just annoying). Then when i joined SFA (http://spyro.conforums3.com) in late 2005 i picked any name i could think of, it was Ratchet. Then, any forum i joined i put my username as ratchet (if i could), ratchet5 or crasnex. in June 2006 i joined here, and havn't changed my username since. I've been thinking about changing it, but i'm quite happy at the moment, everyone knws me as ratchet so i'll keep it at that.

I chose bmah because it's the the initial of my first name + last name. I know it's unoriginal, but I had that username for a long time on the earliest forums/sites I've joined, and now it's a staple name I use and people can easily recognize.

Uh, I have lots. Whcih you recognise me as, depends on which circuits you go to.

Pur-Rulz - The original, the genesis. When I was deciding on a name in one Crash game, I wanted to put "Pura rules, okay?", but there were only eight character spaces. Thus, it was born. Used on the Sonic circuit. Also my DA name.

Pur - Short version. Some of my Crash games only allow three characters, and, as the first part was already "Pur", it made sense. Used on the Crash/Spyro circuit.

Kat-rin Koopa - Ever played Mario Party 5? Remember the mini-game "Flower Shower"? That's her. My only user-name which is DIRECTLY an official character, the name comes from doing my GCSEs. In English Lit, we had to do some poems of Heaney and Clarke. One of Clarke's poems is called "Cat-rin". Koopafy it and voila. Used on the Mario circuit.

Demysus - Posh version of "Demy", which itself is a feminine version of "Deny", the chicken/dinosaur creatures you had to save in Rayman 2 (NOT Rayman Revolution. They were called Minisaurus, there. And they were bigger). Used, obviously, on the Rayman circuit.

Xweek - The most obscure of them all, this one is from Fur Fighters. Tweek and his siblings all have names ending in "Week", and the letter "x" wasn't taken. Used on the...Pokemon circuit. Don't ask for the logic.

I do have Tails_Charmy_Luva on Neopets, but I never go there, anymore.

and its not the name of some long lost love in a past life

its just ontels I use it as my name in evry single website I sighn up for even e-mail and I first used it on the lego website
(plus for some reason the name reminds me of shrimps (:))

I choose NogardTheDragon because when I had my very first spyro game years ago I was so thrilled on that game I thought to myself wondering what would it be like if I were in any spyro series. My sis helped me to name my own dragon character and made a pic of her for me and that's how NogardTheDragon was born. smile

I chose my username from waaaaaay back from when I played Runescape back in '04. Kinda got from playing Baulder's Gate 2, and my friend made it up fer me. Ever since, this is the name I have chosen for jsut about everything accountwise. People know who I am this way.
