Magic the Gathering

hey does any one play Magic the Gathering? Its a card game thats for +13 because it talks about killing creaturs and some of the pictures on the cards have some gore....but very little. There are cards in this card game from other series thats worth lots of money. Like one of the very first cards from the series called Black Lotus is woth $1,000 because it was rare and few played the game at the time. It has many creatures even Dragons <D

theres a kid at my school who is obsessed with all kinds of cards from yu gi oh to pokimon to some other random japanese cards. I bet he knows about these kinds of cards...

Wow....not many play this game. Its a great game, and cool cards. There are people thats like 50 years olf or older and still play this game.

Does anybody think this game ripped off Yu-Gi-Oh? That mountain card has the same name AND look as the mountain card in yugioh.

well actually yu-gi-oh! game out way after magic the gathering infact magic the gathering was the first TCG ever!

I was going to say that myself. The game it self started about....1991-1992 i think....Cuse i have some old cards that have the copy right of 1992 for the pictures. I mean i wasnt even that old when the cards came out.

Yeah. The game's good. Still don't have my own deck, but I use DPX's spares. With the inclusion of my only card, the Hypnotic Spectre.
Ask him about it, it's ANNOYING! :devil:

.....very very anoying...Discards cards from your hand at random if it deals damage to you. Basicly the story of magic the gathering is of 2 wizardry battleing it out in different lands. They pritty much build armys and attack each other...You lose life equaly to the number of damage delt to you....Thankfuly its in small incraments or 1-10...You start out with 20 life and in order to lose you must lose all 20 life. You can gain life back with some effects of cards and what not, but if you can some how gain Infenent life *Cough* I know how *chough* Then you instantly win because haveing infenent life pirtty much makes you "The wizard you act as" a god...the thing is with the infenent life gain its from 3 cards...all from different series. then there is the infenent damage combo...The only time i have to deal with large numbers is when i have to play a Fungus deck....they just keep multiplying.....Plus a card that powers them up makes it worse.......Only once in playing magic had i have to square 1,487,329,026,429 because that multiplyes twice every time....then i had to sqare that because thats how much damage a friend could have done to me......i was lucky enough to kill him before he killed me.
