Well, I am reading Engadget when BenHeck created his own PS3. That's right, he purchased a PS3, ripped it apart and done this:

He built it himself. But if you got some cash in the range starting from $1000 upwards, he will happily convert yours into a laptop.

He also made a Wii and an Xbox 360 versions.

Or, you could buy a laptop. That is cool but it likely isn't all that reliable and I wouldn't trust it not to crash my programs.

Not really difficult to make one, he just made his shiny. Turn it into a fully functional computer then I'll be impressed, oh wait, the ps3 is already a fully functional computer.

Yes, and tons of people have done that. I was at gamestop yesterday and I asked one of the employees (one that I trust) if he has ever done it. He said he had and showed me a picture, he put it together in a few days. It's not really that hard, you just need the right equipment.
