HTML Code not being read correctly

<a><img></a>

Using that to use an image, *points at sig*, to my forums isn't working, nor is this:

<img></a>

So, honestly, what the heck's with it? I've used HTML to edit pages on Smack Jeeves for about a year, and something like this is something I can do without looking at a guide, so, unless this forum has a type of HTML it uses that I don't know about, it should be working.[/code]

EDIT: Even in code, it doesn't show...

Oh, and I'm also using annoying BBC Code to show the image, and then add a link underneath.

Re: HTML Code not being read correctly

I forgot I had html enabled...

I once tried to make basic html tags work, but they never did.
