spyro online?

I was over at a site called spyro's lair. There you could make your own dragon and play games and talk...i found it vary dry and not vary fun at all.There wasn't much to it ,and it didn't let you really chat...I wouldn't even call it chating it just had some random things you could say like what is your fav game and so on and so on.What i would like to see is a spyro online game where you could make your own dragon and play with friends to beat a big boss or something like that.

I agree with you, blitz_dragon_heart. When I joined the spyrothedragon.com lair, I was deeply disappointed with the results.
Like you said:
- No "free" chat, as you have very limited speech.
- The dragons were okay. Maybe if you could have picked different stances for your dragons. After I created my third one, the whole ordeal became immensely boring.
- The games are okay. The one where you shoot at targets is okay, but really carnival-y. Something that you wouldn't really expect on a Spyro website.
- Finally, OH MY FREAKING GOD! The *bleep* questionaire they have. Whoever thought up those questions needs to be kicked in the nuts! At least the majority of the questions should be about SPYRO; wouldn't that make logical sense?!?!?!?! >_> Also, on one of the questions, it asks:
"How many sides does a heptagon have?"
- Of course, the answer is SEVEN, which I picked and they have the correct answer as FIVE!!! FIVE?!?!?!?! If they are going to create these assine questions, at least make them CORRECT!!!!!

All in all, the website was disappointing....V_V

hmmm....hey guys wnat to make a petition? If they know the fans what it bad enough then they may make a online game and the new l.o.spyro game are perfect for online! The new battle system would be easy to use and all they would need to do is make the worlds bigger and make bigger bosses!Like get this you could make your guy a dragon or a female dragon or heck anything from the sypro world like a tiger...hunters a tiger right?Well a tiger like hunter or maybe even a faun like Elora?Make it so they could equip different weapons and armor like a faun with a sword or a dragon with a axe and for long range attacks they could used fire or the fauns could shoot magic balls of light things like thatâ€¦and of course they could customize the look like make the dragon stand of 4 legs or 2, or a black tigerâ€¦man I wish I worked on spyro the world would be a much better place if I did AND I COULD HAVE SAVED THE 4TH AND 5TH GAMES FROM SUCKING SO BAD!NOOOOOOOO

Hm... Spyro Online? I want this integrated in TLoS 3. There is this kind of "rumble arena" where you create your online character and battle out with other dragons online. That will be fun!

i think so to. the way you can only limited chat is very annoying. it should be free chat...like nearly EVERY other multiplayer game like it.hmm.....gets on my nerves!!!!!!!!!!!*bang*

Maybe webbroser-based game, something like newest HOMAM. That will be great. Or Spyro MMMORPG game, situated into Dragon Realms, Avalar and Forggoten Worlds. All in next-gen graphics. And there could by whole new world too (which I have in my mind how it may look).

Heh, that chat ticked me off. I felt like I would be having the same conversation over and over again and reply with the same words over and over again. I haven't been there in ages now.
But I do like the sound of online. Shouldn't be too hard to work out.

If its going to have ANY of online chat it should have a Microphone like Xbox live or Xbox360 Live. since you may not have time to "type" at certain times.

They should make a game where you make your own dragon, then meet Spyro, Cynder etc and help them. That way means that it's a Spyro game, but you do your own thing without being Spyro, if you know what I mean.

Well after highskool im going 2 Devry and imma learn 2 do that then im gonna make that game so when i mention it 2 everyone on the forum im gonna need your ideas but its gonna be awhile then i gotta make the game make a website then download it on there and some more creations

YES! An online game for Spyro fans! Wouldn't hurt to have different body-styles of dragons either. Lung Dragons FTW! Anyway I believe it should be an online version of Spryo, not a stupid WOW style game. BLECH. Maybe upgrades so you can expand how high you can fly. Also armor that can be enchanted with different stats, like in DOTD. Would be awesome!

As for the arena. There are people who like to bash each other to death to make the others submit to their skill, and there are those who want to relax and play with others together in a game of Co-Op killing enemy NPC's with [either easy or hard] to beat AI's.

Maybe make it four to six player!

If someone does make Spyro Online there is going to have to be some serious crack-down on languadge control. We can't have you saying the F-Word to some six year old, could you? Us fans may not think that's a big deal but parents and the game creators will . . and they have the power.

Um . . no. I don't believe that the Spyro game should be too overly complex. I can understand where you're coming from . . um . . you do know 90% of MMO players don't like Runescape . . right?

Yes the trouble with The whole world playing a online spyro game and having NPC enemies.

I Doubt we would need Spyro to defeat the Dark master with all those gamers everywhere evil would sizzle

As cool as it would be to see an online game for Spyro lol...I honestly don't see it happening...but that doesn't mean they couldn't try lol...I think it would be pretty sweet...but they have far bigger things to deal with right now.
