Re: Super Smash Bros Brawl

I'm so addicted to Brawl it's not even funny. Wolf is AWESOME, and Bowser got a nice boost this time around.
Alas, woe is me. I have no life. XD

Re: Super Smash Bros Brawl

I want the game, and I would get it, but sadly, I don't have a Wii, neither does any of my relatives. And I can't visit other peep's house either. (I have no idea why, parent's issues)
But it does look like fun to play. I also saw some gameplays of the game on youtube.... it sure does look awesome....

Re: Super Smash Bros Brawl

You're not missing anything.  <_<
The game is an even bigger dissapointment than I thought it would be.
The only good thing about it is the music.
The co-op was so stupid. I swore that I would never play diddy kong and the stupid subspace emissary made me play that waste of a perfectly good space that could have been occupied by Spyro, another Sonic character, another pokemon even! I can't even begin to describe how much I despise that worthless ball of crap.

Alright I'm finished.  <_<

You're one in a billion. You're such an individual you're like a hummingbird in a flock of geese.
By the way, I'm not being snippy, I'm genuinely astonished that you called Brawl a disappointment, I mean, hardly anyone else is saying that. XD (Although stage editor does suck rather a lot... but I very much enjoy the rest of the game.)

Re: Super Smash Bros Brawl

I would have to agree with you that Trainer Spyro's opinion is definitely a minority here in terms of his opinion of the game. I really fail to see what's bad about this game at all. It's just his taste though. I would give the game like 100/10.

Re: Super Smash Bros Brawl

i have something terrible to say about this game...it contains a freind and what he did. Well my one friend wouldnt be on his team on it and so my X freind(mentaly challenge and is X because he has *bleep*ed every one off by doing this to his mom) Grabbed my freinds coller, threw him into a wall and beat the crap out of him. This game has some how destroyed what little commen sence he had left that he hadnt already killed playing thousands of other games his mom still buys for him.

Re: Super Smash Bros Brawl

Don't blame the game for god sake. If X is mentally challenged, chances are that he didn't get his act together, and it was his decision to beat the crap out of someone else. In regards to his condition, maybe someone should've supervised him. Also, the game manual has a disclaimer about playing when physically or mentally ill. The game did not destroy his sensibilities.
Avoid Jack Thompson-style thinking please.

Whoa. Can you tell what it exactly says?

Seconded on the "No talk like Jack Thompson." He's a jerk.

Nothing special Doppel. I'm just referring to those warnings that you see in every game manual.

You call me a one in a billion hummingbird.
I say you're one of a billion lemmings.
Just following the millions of newbs that think just because the games prequels were good that it will be the best game in the universe as well.
I'm not saying that you don't genuinly enjoy the game nor am I being snippy.  You very well could love the game and I'm not saying you shouldn't. What I am saying is.....
To tell you the truth I'm not sure what I'm saying anymore. There's too many people talking to me at the moment...
I guess I'm just frustrated by people that follow the crowd even if they go against their own beliefs to do it.
I see too many people that start playing games or watching tv shows or listening to music just because a large group seems to think it's cool.
I better stop typing.
This isn't even close to the point I was trying to make.
I curse my ADD brain.  <_<

Re: Super Smash Bros Brawl

It's nice that you try to stay away from the norm or the "crowd" Trainer Spyro, but in this case, it does make you seem weird (if your reason for not liking the game is because you want to avoid the bandwagon). It's not BAD to hop onto the bandwagon sometimes, and in some cases, it's kinda stupid not to.

Re: Super Smash Bros Brawl

I was afraid that was going to be image that comment put off.
That's not why I dislike the game at all.

I'm frustrated that Mewtwo was taken out and replaced with a character that isn't half as good as he was.
I was never a fan of Wario to begin with.
Pit? I'd never even heard of him before Brawl.
Don't get me started on Diddy Kong again. I would have rather seen a teletubby in Brawl than Diddy Kong or wario.
At least I would have enjoyed beating the spunk out of that.

The subspace emessary? What was that? It was ridiculous. The only good part about it were the cinimatics that didn't involve Diddy Kong or Wario. tongue
Tabuu was cool though. I will admit that and I did feel bad for master hand.

I'm not all for avoiding the bandwagon. I'm for having your own opinion that you don't change like a sheep to follow the crowd.

You think Mewtwo's better than Lucario? Here are some comparisons between the two.

Mewtwo:

Large target, yet very light, rendering him easy to knock off the stage.

Disable is a fairly useless attack, you have to be facing the enemy, and the enemy has to be facing you, making you vulnerable to an attack to disrupt Disable.

Attacks were somewhat strong, but had very poor range.

Shadow Ball moved in a crooked, short path, making it somewhat useless.
-----------------
Lucario:

Semi-large target, but heavier than Mewtwo.

Better recover moves (his up-b move can be guided allowing you to change your path to recover back to the stage before it ends).

Does somewhat high damage even at low damage ratings.

Does even more damage the more damage he takes.

His Aura Sphere is faster, and more powerful than Mewtwo's Shadow Ball and moves in a straight line. It also goes farther.

His Final Smash, Aura Storm, is capable of getting in 82 hits and then send enemies flying.
-----------------
All in all: Lucario > Mewtwo

Re: Super Smash Bros Brawl

Honestly, when Lucario was first announced to be in, I didn't give a crap.  But Im surprised, I played as him a few times and like him.  He's my second best now.  But Game & Watch still dominates him to be my first best.

Re: Super Smash Bros Brawl

Oh yeah, you know what really stinks? I know this song that would've been absolutely perfect for the Bridge of Eldin stage in Brawl. For those of you who've beaten Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, you'll recognize this song. As for people who haven't, if you listen to this, you may agree with me. http://youtube.com/watch?v=--wLM1s_cmU

WHOA. O_O Was it really that bad?
I can agree with you on the 'Lucario replacing Mewtwo situation' (I liked him too, actually, he was one of the best characters I used to fight with a lot, and I beated up my cousin's like that. tongue )

Re: Super Smash Bros Brawl

It is pretty much Melee with Wii controls. I have no idea how to unlock Sonic, all I know is that I am on the final level of story mode (The giant maze), and I just beat everyone....wtf do I do now?

Re: Super Smash Bros Brawl

Well, if you beat Classic Mode with 10 characters, you get to fight Sonic. A word of advice though... Have Ike as the last person you beat it with. His strength matches Sonic's speed. Also, if a Smash Ball appears, get it ASAP, or you'll have to deal with Super Sonic, and it's not fun.

Re: Super Smash Bros Brawl

Alright, I beat adventure mode and got him. I was disappointed to see that Sonic appeared only at the VERY end....

Oh well, I got a question to those who have the game: What are your top three characters that youa re good with?

Me: 1. Samus. 2. Ike. 3. Wolf
