Even if School is good for you in the future (not saying it is), its terrible in the present and THAT NEEDS TO BE CHANGED.

Okay?!What coke are you talking about?My class is soo dumb!sorry but some aren't we haven't even been able to go on a felid trip.And the gym teacher doesn'y always show up.I wish I was in a school with some fun people..but at the same time smart.

Man, you guys make me feel spoiled, lol. I go to a great school. I'm sorry some of you don't. sad
Yeah, we used to have Coca-Cola products at our school, but they've been banned now. Dunno why. Made all 1400 students very mad.
This school year has been really weird. The Administration got more dumb than they already are. Who gives 1400 students a total of 2 bathrooms that you can only use during class and locks all the other bathrooms in the school ... Yeah, you can bet the students didn't handle that well by putting our school out in the media and bringing up petitions and whatnot. Now we're up to 4 bathrooms ... Making progress. :-P

Maybe the NSW department of edu is worse that most places in the world, well did you know that my state has the most multiculturalism in out of every area in the world! (Syndney is the most multicultural city), i'm not comparing that to school, just letting you know.
Do i think i need it? Well yeah, about 3% of it.

no we are not, look, what if you didn't need your HSE To go to uni? Why do we need one anywaay. We could do a job totally unrelated to school which means half of your education was waisted. If i had the choice i would go and do a game design cource right now, Because the HSE doesn't prove that i'm a good game designer does it.

But I can guarantee they'd choose someone who would have a degree over someone who doesn't.
The only way I can see that not happening is if you have a God given talent.
And if you had that, you probably wouldn't be here right now.

you dont get what i am trying to say, do you. am SAYING that the education system is wrong that we need these HSC diplomas and a UAI to do jobs, they do not Prove that you are smart in that job, it just proves that you study well and are good in a few subjects, and ones that maybe totaly unrelated to your job.
i KNOW that if i quit now that getting into Uni or any job would be really hard, i am complaining about the education system in general.
You may say that "You need a broad education" well frankly, WE DONT! it may give us an idea for different jobs and may help us with these jobs but i have 2 things to say about that...
1.This "broad education" Should not be compalsary
2.We can learn this stuff when we take th cource for these jobs anyway

I am not SAying that Education is pointless, we DO need to learn reading, writing, handwriting (kinda), Arithmatic, muliplication/division, graphs. And the rest should be optional.

Lol, I didn't ask for all that unnecessary stuff. I already knew that since you've repeated yourself one too many times. I simply didn't know what HSC or HSE whatever UAI was. Obviously it's a type of diploma. That's all I wanted to know.
But since you decided to throw in that other stuff again, I'll go ahead and agree with you again. I just think of chemistry ... now I'm mad. I'd say the same with history, but it's always good to know your background. Just ... chemistry ... Actually, it could just be my teacher.

History and geography are probably the most useless subjects in school, Geography is useless because i can learn it all from TV, History is useless because it is... well... just history!
Juice Box: I find School terrible, and not just the work. The fact that i have to get up at 7 each morning, my mum nagging me to do things like packing my bag, the 50 minute walk there and back carrying my 25 pound bag, the kids annoying me, the psycological harm...

I can see where you're saying history is useless. I agree on that and disagree. It's just nice to know about your country and whatnot. I'm probably also saying history is good because I have an amazing teacher, heh.
About you walking: do you guys not have buses there? Or couldn't any of your parents take you?

History may be interestiong, but i can learn most stuff off TV, and besides, it should be optional.
Buses: I do have buses that take me there and back, but it takes 1 hour 10 minutes to get home (and you have to wait for the bus so its BORING) but only 50 minutes to walk, so walk it is
Parents: Nope, they say that they are too "busy"

PS: The education system hasn't taken in that technology has improved
