Bad news guys (yes again)

I just found out that my computer only has 467MB on my side of the computer. My daddy has the other side. So far, I've created 56 frames of the movie, and it keeps saying Low on Disk Space. I just can't do the movie. So I've decided to make books of the movie instead. I know, i know. Sucks don't it? Oh well. I'm not kidding either. But please don't get mad!  neutral

I would never get mad. I mean come on, it's not your fault! Is there any way you could get more space? Maybe your dad will let you use his half of the computer!

Re: Bad news guys (yes again)

You don't need ram, you need disk space.

Heres an idea: save the images in a format such as png (lossless, good compression) so you can save disk space, and then go buy a 2gb flash drive to store it all on (You can get flash drives for like $25).

Ok. I"ll try to buy a 2gb flash drive.

P.S.- my dad won't let me use some of his half of computer.

Re: Bad news guys (yes again)

What are you talking about? Vista is terrible. chee chee, if your running vista, then you know the culprit of your diskspace problem is VISTA.

BTW, I went on a hut for online storage for your stuff, and I came across http://www.adrive.com It seems decent and i registered and tested it out. Get your dad to make you an account so you can store your files on there. No one else can see them or download your files, so its pretty safe.

Re: Bad news guys (yes again)

I just got xp a year or two ago, I'm not going to waste money on vista. (especially now since it apparently sucks)

anyway, flash drives are the best, I have two 512 MB ones, one is even password protected. I store all of my final finished pieces on there. (right now thats zero, lol)

Re: Bad news guys (yes again)

Yes Vista could explain your problem. In my opinion Mac Leopard is better, its faster and incredibly easy to use. In my opinion it is much better than windows xp and light years ahead of Vista. You know what's weird, XP is faster than Vista and M$ expects people to upgrade?

Re: Bad news guys (yes again)

If you want speed, use Ubuntu.

Vista is a copy of mac.

Re: Bad news guys (yes again)

Well, I don't have Vista. XP of course.
By the way,...........................................................................

THE MOVIE IS GOING TO BE IN 3D!!!!!!! IT might take time but
It'll be great! I'm downloading a new animation program called Blender.
And it will save some disk space on my pc. I'll make a chapter and save it as a
avi file! Avi files are good right? They're like video files.
(I'll just delete the frames)

Re: Bad news guys (yes again)

Avi compressed with divx is good.

Be careful with 3d. Its very hard and time consuming.

Re: Bad news guys (yes again)

Chee Chee please don't post under a guest.

Anyway, Spyrorocks, I would prefer to use a recongizable brand name like Apple or M$. No offense but I have had bad experiences with off brands.

Re: Bad news guys (yes again)

Brand?

What are you talking about, brand? Ubuntu is a flavor Linux. It was created by many people who all contributed, and its free.
