Legend of Spyro: a new story or a prequel?
This trilogy is a prequel to first game of Spyro (Spyro The Dragon) or a new story?
The name "A new beginning" probably means a new Spyro's story

Some people believe that TLOS took place bout 1000 years before the originals, some believe that even the originals were first.

I really do think that it happened a million years ago before the originals. Because in TLoS, A purple dragon rids the world of evil. A million years afterwards, peace and prosperity reign because in TLoS, all the bad forces of the dragon worlds are destroyed. Perfect Logic.

Different story, different time... In the originals there were some technologies like in Spyro 3 that submarine boss and cannons, guns and so on!
TLOS series has catapults, but they're not new technologies. I think that the originals and TLOS series aren't even related any way.
So I don't comparison their times or anything else. They're completely different worlds.

thats why some believe it took place years before, but sometimes i think its a Reboot too.
