Has anyone ever noticed that dark gems and spirit gems look alot alike, but one is good and one is bad.

Spirit gems? Are those the breakable crystal-like gem formations? If they are, then yes, they do look alike. Only different colors to indicate that one's good and one's evil.

Actually, Krome got most of their ideeas from AHT, so its highly possible they got the idea from AHT
