Best mate for Spyro?

Well, I guess this is pretty self explainitory. Which character do you think would be best for Spyro? I'll let you change your answer incase you change your mind.

I say Cynder beacause she has a lot more in common with him then Ember does

WTF? why would ember be a good match to spyro? Spyro Didn't understand a word ember was saying in AHT. So in theory Cynder would be the bast match for spyro (unless they were siblings as they came from the same batch of eggs).

Well, as I've said before, no rules really have been set down in the Spyro universe on how dragons are made, if they mate at all, and if coming from the same batch is considered siblings. In any case, I would say Cynder because she was a more relevant character, she wasn't just a meaningless fill-in character.

Well, how to explain it...

1.) Cynder
We don't know for sure about Spyro and Cynder are more than friends. They might be related due to coming from the same place, but I dunno, just saying. If they do, maybe cause Cynder feels like she owes something in return, even though it wasn't her fault all of it happened. She would seem like a suitable pairing though. I would like to see them two together at the end of Eternal Night.

2.) Ember
This, is not as noticable as Cynders, but it kind of shows. For one, she actually wants to get married with Spyro, even though they are too young. Spyro also does get confused on what she's talking or is skeptical about saying yes or no, cause saying no could break her heart into many tiny shards like when Spyro destroys a Dark Gem. It does seem like a Sonic and Amy kind of parody or something cause they share the same with them, if Ember has to save Spyro for some reason, I'm sure a pairing would be partly visible, but I dunno. She wouldn't be the best mate, but hey, it can happen.

3.) Fan Characters
I...well, it's up to the creator of their character. I'm not going to say anything about it.

Overall, I do see Cynder more of a type for Spyro than Ember. Ember and Spyro seems like a weird, but kind of alright pairing though. I'll stick to SpyroxCynder.

Definitely Cynder without question because spyro and cynder have more history than spyro and any other character (except sparx).

I actually support both couples, but I like SpyroxEmber better (obviously, as my username shows!), so I voted Ember.

Both seem like a pretty good match, but I just think that Ember and Spyro look cuter together.

I'd have to go with Spyro & Cynder: a more serious couple that could probably go farther. Who knows what could happen.
I really don't think Spyro & Ember would ever happen. As cute and sweet they may be.. No. Ember just gets all up on Spyro and says "you like me" when he's giving the attitude of "no I don't." Haha, I think it's pretty funny.

However, I would like to add that any relationship between them, romantic or not, would be very deep. I do not think them pairing up is incest in the usual sense because they really aren't siblings, though you could think of it that way because they came from the same clutch (is that even the right word for it???) of eggs.

Frankly, whether it's through romance or a "thicker than blood" friendship, SpyroxCynder should happen, even if all it ultimately does is tick off the Dark Master, ya know what I'm sayin'? wink

I would've perferred Spyro to be with Elora but since there's no bubble for Elora I'll just say fan-character. I know alot of you guys don't think it could work out but c'mon, if a cheetah and a rabbit could do it then so can a dragon and a faun.

Elora showed intrest in Spyro during the second and third game yet nobody thinks that they would make a good couple. Why?

Oh, I don't know, maybe cause she's not around anymore? roll She dissapears after the YOTD, and even there she was only a secondary character. If you look at the epioluge for Spyro 2 (Get all the skill points then look in the guidebook), it says that Spyro lost his chance with Elora, and I doubt they'll give her another one.

Still, i cant' change your opinion, so I'll try to add Elora onto there if I can.... smile

Hey, I know about three fandoms (could be more but I can't remember them now) that have guys who are oblivious to a girl's advances, yet the girls always gives him another chance until they get it right; Spyro's universe should be no different. Besides, Insomniac were the ones who created Elora, they can't help it if another company wants to wipe out the universe and replace it with a dark dreary existance where everyone's gone except for Spyro and Sparx. (who have been horribly revamped.)

Cynder is the best match for spyro because in ANB, they have a special bond like Ignitis is a father-figure to spyro. In ANB, spyro rescues cynder from the dark master and I'm thinking in TEN, cynder rescues spyro from the dark master.

SpyroxCynder forever! Seriously, I think that relationship could go far. Ember seems like too much of a flirt for Spyro, and Elora...well, I will say that I don't want to think about the possible outcomes of that venture. Nuh-uh, I'll just stick with Cynder when it comes to canon. Fan characters...Well, that generally differs from fan to fan, so I won't say anything about that.

Well my fave fancharacterxSpyro relationship was from a pretty old fan fic, but he made SpyroxLegand work out greatly! She's from one of the stories I get my inspiration from! smile Other then her, I'd stick with Cynder cause of their simmilarities, and the non-compatiblity of the other choices.

cynder hands down because they have so much more in commen + i thin we can all see them becoming more than friends in the games to come.

Ember was cute in a heros tail and all. but there was just one problem... spyro never really felt the same way for her.
