I don't understand...
You see, I'm a member of Deviantart. My username there is Scorcho160.
You know what? Apparently Deviantart can't keep promises.
I was banned from deviantart in March, for being 11 years old. Banned for being underage is the worst law in the world. You can be 40 and act like your 5. And so they don't ban. You can be a 8 year old that acts like a 13 year old. BANNED. Isn't that stupid? After my mother called Deviantart, I was unbanned, and WAS PROMISED never to be banned for being 11 years old.
... Guess what happened today.
I WAS BANNED FOR THE SAME REASON.
Here is the message on my profile.
This user is no longer a member of deviantART.
Reason: According to the profile this is an underage account. The account can be reopened upon attaining the age of 13 yrs. Please contact the Help Deskdesk should you require any further information.
I want to sue COPPA now.

Re: I don't understand...
Just lie and say you're above the minimum age. They have age limit rules on websites where adults and children can go on for obvious reasons. Not everyone in this world is trustworthy.

Re: I don't understand...
The thing is Lone Knight most sites are like that now lying gets you nowhere anymore so the best thing i can recommend is that you rejoin with deviantArt and say your age is 16+ but act older than you are so they don't get suspicious

COPPA is an act to protect children online.
If a child is under 13 years of age, their information is not allowed to be kept online. Here on spyroforum, we have COPPA as well. It is required by law.

Re: I don't understand...
If a website is keeping information about a user who is under 13, they can be sued by the child's parents.

Re: I don't understand...
Decent companies only show information about the user if the user has allowed it. Like on spyroforum, you can choose what you would like to be shown and what you want private.

Hm. Apparently Joining Deviantart is giving away that information? It doesn't. It has all the areas private. You can enter where you live, but you don't have to. And Let me tell ya, I was unbanned, and the PROMISED never to ban me again, and they ban me...
But thank you for that information.

Re: I don't understand...
Almost all my friends on youtube say they are 21 even though they arent, im not telling you to lie, but if you do act like you are 21, not 11, or they will become suspicoius.(i know thats not spelled right.

Re: I don't understand...
You know whats funny? That you don't have to type in your age... For instance, I can just type in, I'm not telling. Easy, huh?
Thats what I'm gonna do, one I get unbanned ![]()

Re: I don't understand...
Usually they will just say that that value for the input field is not valid.
Anyways, enough of the talk about submitting fraudulent information to websites.
