If This Had a Two-Player Mode...
Other than a time trial to collect the most gems (Gem Frenzy, I think it'd be called), what do you think could have existed in the game, as extras?

Speedway / supercharge races! And fire powerup shooter games! 
Those would be fun to play I think.
