Why Did You Join Spyro Forum?
I was just looking for a place to spread my ideas for a new Spyro game, but I wanted an active forum. I settled for darkSpyro first, since it was the Spyro behemoth at the time, but it ultimately ended up transitioning into the base for Activision's cash-guzzling series featuring a more lizard-gremlin-like Spyro. I told myself that I can come to Spyro Forum as a safe haven or shelter for when darkSpyro gets REALLY bad, but somehow, I wanted to stay at that site. Now, I can never return as a registered user. I shared ROMs, something that they consider illegal. It's something that I won't do here.
I now come here every day, treating the website as my Spyro news site. At the moment, however, it doesn't even seem like a Spyro news site, or even a Spyro discussion site. It now just ends up being a small social group. We're not a Facebook, guys. Not everyone is going to be willing to talk like that.

Hey man, if you don't like the atmosphere here I'm sorry, but it isn't our job to cater to you.
I'm sorry if the branding of the site is misleading, however, this forum has evolved over the years to what it is today. We are a small group of people who have come together through a common interest (Spyro) and have since become friends who are interested in talking about other real world things besides a purple dragon from a video game. If that upsets you, then frankly, that's not our problem.
Please, try to be more respectful of our community from now on.

Because cynder SR created this forum and a bunch of us moved here from Neoseeker where the moderators didn't like our off-topic conversations very much.

Don't lie. The smiles of our almighty Cynder shine on us for our good deeds. It is for this reason she bestowed on us a safe haven to discuss her beauty.

Also, maybe there's no Spyro news on here because there isn't any Spyro news? Unless you want us to start making up news, there honestly isn't much going on.

No news -> no feed -> no new topics -> General chat.
There is nothing anyone can do unless there is anything new going on. What is the point of "making" fan-made games if noone is going to finish them? Its like chasing a broken bit of string.

^ this. the only thing we can do is what we're doing now, just talking and occasionally thinking of something Spyro-related to discuss.
i really wonder if i'd even join a forum about Spyro today. i like Spyro (see username) but i mostly stay here because ... i already know you guys, you're my friends.

Because I like Spyro. And this is a cool place.
