Re: MP3 issue
Sounds like the internal flash memory is on its way out. Flash memory (SD Cards, built-in device memory and USB sticks) only has (estimated by tests) 999,999 times it can be powered on/off and this includes when the MP3 tries to read the songs so if it won't format it may have failed... ![]()

Re: MP3 issue
Have you tried formatting on another PC? It may only be the PC not working.

Re: MP3 issue
That is really a strong sign of flash failure then ![]()
Does the MP3 have a SD card slot at all for external storage?

Re: MP3 issue
It could just be a cheaply made MP-3 player. Depends on how much Clocky invested for it. Same with cheap ear buds, they just don't last long.
"Cheap" could even mean the tiny circuits not being built well, or the memory going bad straight from the manufacture.

Re: MP3 issue
That's why i bought headphones from TDK. They have a very nice depth of sound.
Never ask what I'd do for a klondike bar. No one wants to go down that road.

Re: MP3 issue
It is always possible that the Computer you were using could use a USB Driver Reinstall/Update? Never hurts to try and it is ALWAYS good (Not 100% good in Nvidia or AMD's Case though since they always end up fixing something and adding 50 more problems to the drivers) to update your drivers.
