Re: What's Your Gaming Song?
Maybe I'm weird, but I usually just plug in headphones in my TV and listen to the game audio.
I guess I don't play too many games that involve repetition or grinding though--then I would probably want to listen to music. Most likely post rock/ambient music.

Re: What's Your Gaming Song?
Same as Paranoia and 36. So many games have great soundtracks, I wouldn't want to replace them.

With Lambda and 36 The soundtracks in the games capture the moments themselves.

Re: What's Your Gaming Song?
Well like I kind of alluded to in my post, it just depends on the type of game you play. When I play Dark Souls or something, I wouldn't want to have music over game audio because the auditory cues tell you so much about what's coming and what to look out for. Otherwise if you're playing like Minecraft (which I have actually never played) you could just put on some music and build stuff.
If you're playing the original Spyro the Dragon though, hopefully you're listening to its awesome music. ![]()

Re: What's Your Gaming Song?
Try playing Battlefield 4:
Music: Lay'd back casual mode.
No Music: You are serious and someone IS GOING to die horribly. (Also with a decent headset or speaker setup the Surround audio mode is pretty decent as you can easily tell where people are)

Re: What's Your Gaming Song?
That brings up a good point. If it's an online game, like whenever we do Counter Strike or TF2 gaming nights, I will often use my own music. Most of it is soundtracks from movies and other games though...

Re: What's Your Gaming Song?
Most of the time I just listen to anyway. I mean there's to many really good songs. So I don't really have a gaming song. Don't need one.

I never have the time to grind or farm anymore. Though, even if I did, it would just bore me now.
